5 /5 pam nam: BFT is a group training gym that’s made a real difference in my fitness routine. From the moment I joined, the space felt welcoming and the people - both members and coaches - were friendly and approachable. This is a point of difference in my experience with group fitness and is the reason why I keep coming back to BFT. The workouts are well-planned, the gym is always clean, and the equipment is in great condition.
What really stands out to me, though, is the coaching. The exceptional trainers including Linda and Stacey do more than just motivate - they actually take the time to help you move properly. They give clear, specific and realtime advice during sessions, whether it’s adjusting your posture during a deadlift, helping you engage the right muscles in a squat, or showing you how to control your pace on cardio days. They’re always watching and giving supportive feedback in a way that’s positive, supportive, friendly, easy to understand, and it really has helped me train safely and get better with technique.
The other cool part is the BFT personal fitness monitor technology that links to the BFT iPhone app and also the in session TV screen to help me track my personal workout and output in real-time. This has helped optimise my work out and has pushed me to reach my personal best during each session.
There’s also a great energy in the room - people work hard, but it’s not overly serious. The coaches bring a sense of fun without losing focus, and that balance makes coming in each session something I actually look forward to. A sincere thank you to the whole team for creating such a fantastic environment to train in! Krishma from the management team has also been fantastic - she’s a great communicator, warm, approachable and considerate - when I needed to organise time off while on holidays she helped me do so with great ease.
