Housed Thornleigh - NSW

Benjamin Lea Honestly, I’m not too sure what other reviewers are complaining about. If your training age is anything more than two years, you will appreciate this Gym for what it’s worth. Pure Strength and Techno Gym plate loaded equipment, MAG grips, IVANKO & ELEIKO calibrated plates, KEISER power cages and 4x sturdy built out squat platforms. If you know you know. Is this location perfect, no. Is any location perfect? No. This definitely has a “Housed” feel, but it is in no way shape or form at the caliber of a five star luxury hotel like the Macquarie Park location. In saying that, if you’re paying Housed pricing which is like $20 a week you have to be out of your mind to think this additional location (not to mention the others that have recently opened) isn’t exceptional value. If you want the five star bougie experience go train at Macquarie Park. You will find that location once you’ve trained there a few times is a lot of smoke screens and mirrors. It also isn’t perfect but I don’t think that’s the point of the gym. I have multiple gym memberships and unless you’re paying a lot of money for a powerlifting gym, you are not gonna find a calibrated weight in any Fitness First, Anytime fitness or other. I would probably argue.. this is one of the best locations I’ve seen in terms of squat racks and the only location I’ve ever seen have power cages. This may or may not appeal to you. The gym could be a little bit difficult to find out first, appears to be ample parking and training on a Monday at 3PM I saw less than 10 other people in the gym. Take this with a grain of salt because maybe it gets busy. I just didn’t see it myself today. The gym has two levels, plenty of room to roll around and stretch and the far end of the gym is a wall of glass so lots of natural sunlight. Additionally there is some unreal basketball court situation happening as well on site. This does not appeal to me, but it was crazy busy and if you’re somebody who likes to shoot hoops, this might be something worth looking into. I will definitely return to this location.

The Movement Refinery - NSW

Charlene San Juan Quite possibly the loveliest place in the world to learn Pilates! I came in as a complete beginner (with a spine as inflexible as a telephone pole), and under the gentle guidance of Nic and his team, my body has become noticeably stronger and more mobile. Would definitely recommend TMR to anyone in Melbourne looking to start their Pilates journey!

Jetts Fitness North Sydney - NSW

Nikki N Hands down the best gym in North Sydney!! . There’s a really nice community vibe in the gym and Pat & Hazel + the rest of the staff are super approachable and have always been so welcoming, friendly and helpful! The gym itself is really clean, has plenty of space, shower facilities and all the equipment you’d need. Couldn’t recommend more!

Hack The Gym - NSW

Helle Clausen Matt is an amazing PT. His understanding of how the body works and how it works differently for each of his clients is what really sets him apart from any other trainer I have encountered. He helped me rebuild my strength after many years of illness. I still, after more than a year at Hack the Gym, do PT with Matt because he continues to challenge and build my body stronger at an age where most are going downhill. Thank you Matt!
