5 /5 Connie Hsu: Welcoming & gracious. Had checked out other stores which seemed more like tourists sites with range of inexpensive to expensive items. This is a fine jewelry store with only quality items. Loved looking at the various selections and learning about Australian opals, pink diamonds, & South Sea pearls. Had custom made jewelry made to my taste. The quality was excellent. This is a family business that I’m happy to recommend.

5 /5 Emily Anna Dobson: On my backpacking trip down the east coast of Australia Ive been into several jewelers on a quest to find the perfect pair of opal earrings. This is the first and only shop where my friend and I werent met by a snobby shop owner who didnt think I could afford a pair of genuine opal earrings. The service was great here!! I got to design my own earrings and the staff at Giulians were more than happy to accommodate all my wishes!! If you want to go jewelry shopping in Australia you should definitely save it for Giulians Fine Jewellery in Sydney - most friendly, sweet and helpful customer service Ive ever experienced!!

5 /5 Trys Eddy: Before I get into a long-winded story and everyone stops reading, I want to say that I could not recommend Giulians and their team any more highly. Their professionalism, customer service and care in their final product is exceptional and I could not be more happy and excited about what we as a team produced. Now for those who are still reading, a bit of context to the above statement. When I first thought about proposing to my girlfriend, I did what most men do and visited the usual chain stores. Michael Hill, Prouds, Tiffany, Bevilles, Goldmark, etc. I went into no less than 10 stores trying to find a suitable ring, and in all 10 stores I had exactly the same experience. The conversation went like this: Customer Service (CS)- Looks me up and down, puts on a fake smile and says, Can I help you? Me- Im looking for an engagement ring. CS- What is your budget? Me- So and so amount CS- Without asking any further questions, proceeds to shows me what they consider to be the perfect ring which just happens to be slightly over my budget...EVERY SINGLE TIME! I was really down hearted because it wasnt what I thought this experience was meant to be about. Compared to Giulians (Alice) Alice- Can I help you? Me- Im looking for an engagement ring. Alice- Huge, real smile! Thats amazing, congratulations, you must be so excited. What are your thoughts, what are you looking for? Now were talking! Someone who is excited for me and wants to hear my thoughts. In fact, we had 2 meetings before we even talked budget. We then sat down over a few days and planned, sketched and replanned the perfect, unique, one-of-a-kind ring for my beautiful, unique, one-of-a-kind future fiancé. Alice worked hard to find exactly what I was looking for, calling in favours from contacts in the business, giving me multiple options for each stone and working with the team to produce the perfect ring that has one heck of a story -- a story that is unique to us. Moral of the story, if off the rack and mass produced is sufficient for you, you will find it in spades at the bigger stores, but dont expect them to care about you. If you want something that is unique, high quality and as individual as your relationship and partner, give Giulians a go!
