He understood what I was after and made suggestions which improved my design. He is a very creative person, this, matched with his skill as a goldsmith and designer resulted in my gorgeous ring. I couldn’t be happier with the whole process and the finished product.

Lucas is fantastic to deal with and made the whole process a true collaboration. Our ideas and his were fused together with his impeccable craftsmanship to create custom designs which far exceeded our expectations. He also sourced beautiful stones for two of the rings. 5 /5 Dean Rosevear: As the Black Cicada Gallery is in my neighborhood, I dropped in on a whim to see if they could make a stud for me as I had recently lost the one I wore. Wow, what a great whim. Lucas sat with me and discussed the various stones, noticed that I had fatter ear lobes and suggested that a longer pole would be more comfortable and overall was just incredible. I decided on a tourmaline, but couldnt decide if I wanted a light or dark green, so Lucas mocked up a setting for each to help me choose. I couldnt decide and wound up buying both! Lucass did such a good job on my studs, that I took my mums eternity ring to see if he could repair it. The ring had had to be cut off when my mum was going through chemo and we thought it was pretty much destroyed. The ring had been cut open and bent, two sapphires had been lost and the setting was worn and the other stones were in danger of falling out. After Lucas finished with it, my mum said it looks just like it did the day my dad gave it to her 66 years ago. If you are looking for some jewellery dont be like me and wait on a whim, go and meet Lucas. You will not be sorry.

The finished ring exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love it, as would my late mum who previously owned it and also repurposed it once before this. 5 /5 Dane Pierce: I am in awe of the engagement ring that Lukas designed & made for my now wife. Watching Lukas sit & listen to what my now wife was describing that she liked & then sketch different ring designs was something else! I think the ring is even more amazing than we ever thought! An added amazing touch was that Lukas provided us with photos throughout the process of him making the ring so we have those amazing photos to cherish forever. Lukas also worked amazingly with our jeweler, whom he has worked with for many years, to source the exquisite clear & pink diamonds. Thank you again Lukas!
