Janette was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond to ensure I found a ring that not only matched my vision but also felt truly meaningful. Janette was aware of my situation and how for the last year I’ve been dealing with another jewellery store for a full refund of my current engagement ring and felt my pain. Her attention to detail, patience, and genuine care transformed what could have been a stressful decision into a sentimental and unforgettable experience ending in HAPPY TEARS from the both of us. Janette made me feel valued and supported every step of the way, and I left the store not just with a beautiful ring, but with a memory I’ll always treasure. 2 /5 Heather Macey-Simpson: I came in today to get my ring cleaned and to enquire about getting a diamond replaced, the lady at the desk seemed quite dismissive and annoyed with us when she asked if I had been getting the diamond checks every 6 months and my partner and I said no because we didn’t know this was something we needed to do. I left my ring to be cleaned and came back 30-40 minutes later to pick it up, got in the car and had a look and noticed my ring was not cleaned, my partner suggested maybe that’s the best that could be done. I have then gone in tonight with a Pikster and water and cleaned it and was disgusted. I haven’t had my ring cleaned in about a year so I was expecting it to be dirty but also expected that Michael Hill would clean it properly especially since this is the store I brought it from. I couldn’t see the details under where the ring is elevated and could still see dirt build up in the corners. The amount of dirt I got out with little effort at home has really left me disappointed. I won’t be returning for cleans at Michael Hill.

1 /5 Thilini Godlieb: I visited Michel hill Charlestown today 10 July 2025. With a necklace my husband got me for Christmas and it had 3 stones fallen off,which I had unfortunately deleted the receipt from my email,the lady who approached me said she need to speck to her manager about the matter, a lady came out from inside and told me that she’s being working there for 15 years and have never seen a piece of jewellery like that , which made me feel very uncomfortable as if I had bought some cheep jewellery and trying to get it fixed by them, she kept telling and showing me different codes on the necklace and said they don’t really match MH jewellery or something like in those lines ,and a nother co worker confirmed to say that she’s being at MH for 25 years and she too have not seen such an item, this is not the kind of customer service you would expect from such a prestigious store, after all they manager to find my receipt which my husband and purchased the necklace and gave me receipt saying it can be fixed because it’s still under warranty, This made me very uneasy and uncomfortable ,was not a nice experience at all, please make sure your staff does their homework on the jewellery they sell , even if it a limited edition, or Christmas edition, even if they have never seen that piece , it’s best to first check on your system before telling your customers that the jewellery is not from MH, This was the worst customer service I’ve ever had experience,
