1 /5 Thilini Godlieb: I visited Michel hill Charlestown today 10 July 2025. With a necklace my husband got me for Christmas and it had 3 stones fallen off,which I had unfortunately deleted the receipt from my email,the lady who approached me said she need to speck to her manager about the matter, a lady came out from inside and told me that she’s being working there for 15 years and have never seen a piece of jewellery like that , which made me feel very uncomfortable as if I had bought some cheep jewellery and trying to get it fixed by them, she kept telling and showing me different codes on the necklace and said they don’t really match MH jewellery or something like in those lines ,and a nother co worker confirmed to say that she’s being at MH for 25 years and she too have not seen such an item, this is not the kind of customer service you would expect from such a prestigious store, after all they manager to find my receipt which my husband and purchased the necklace and gave me receipt saying it can be fixed because it’s still under warranty,
This made me very uneasy and uncomfortable ,was not a nice experience at all, please make sure your staff does their homework on the jewellery they sell , even if it a limited edition, or Christmas edition, even if they have never seen that piece , it’s best to first check on your system before telling your customers that the jewellery is not from MH,
This was the worst customer service I’ve ever had experience,
