5 /5 Human Being: I’ve been a member of Plus Fitness in Caringbah since early-2024. After my previous gym had closed down temporarily from flooding, and exercise machines were failing to be repaired, and the gym class timetable and opening hours were no longer working with my schedule, I decided I needed to look around for a gym which suited my needs and hadn’t considered a 24 hour gym without exercise classes before I showed up at Plus Fitness Caringbah for a trial, and right in my own neighbourhood too.
I generally keep to myself when I’m working out but what’s changed is my gym experience. I found early on that member’s were friendly, down to earth and helpful when I was a newbie and overcoming my reticence to using new gym equipment which was once unfamiliar to me. What else is different here is the equipment/machines are maintained and repaired quickly and don’t remain out of order, thanks to Jacki (the Club Manager) who is quick to respond to these kinds of things and very attentive to the member’s needs. Having Jacki there also creates an inclusive experience as there are both men and women at different fitness levels who use the equipment and with her no-nonsense attitude, approach and example to building strength I have noticed increased strength both in body and attitude since changing gyms.
What I like about PF Caringbah is it’s very clean, there’s plenty of light since the recent renovation, it’s ample in size, there are two floors with both machines and free-standing weights and a variety of cardio machines and floor space, and I love, love, love how I can go at anytime which suits my schedule and I feel safe to do so - this decision has been a big plus for my fitness.
