1 /5 Ali Cohan: My wife recently purchased a watch from Prouds castle tower, but after wearing it, she developed a rash. Concerned about this issue, we decided to return the watch within 10 days of purchase. Unfortunately, our experience at the store was extremely disappointing.
When we approached the staff, we were referred to the manager, who displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. Rather than addressing my wife concerns respectfully, she accused her of being aware of her sensitivity and implied that we should not have purchased a "cheap" product. She further stated that because my wife had worn the watch, a return was not possible, even though the rash was a direct result of wearing it. She claimed they could prove this with a microscope in the store, which felt dismissive and unhelpful.
As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and fairness. This experience has left me questioning Prouds commitment to customer satisfaction and the quality of its products. I believe businesses thrive because of their customers, and such treatment only alienates them.
To ensure no one else faces a similar experience, I will be informing my friends and family about this incident and advising them to reconsider shopping at Prouds.
