Sub Base Platypus

Andreas Ludwig So happy to live next door. Looking forward to the upgraded amenities and easier access. But even now a lovely place next to the water with nice spaces to walk our dog and just enjoy your time in tranquility. Also a nice place to spot birds - just beware of the seagulls, as they can be vicious.

Henry Lawson Cave

Will Lee Gave 5 stars as it is the only shelter after the bottom of bridges towards tunks Park There is a table but it is in the rain so I will have to sleep on the rocks, there is only one rock not too steep What was Henry Lawson doing here? It is hardly a place for inspiration, personally I would rather walk to lane Cove national Park.

St Thomas Rest Park

Cordelia This park has it all. It’s a historic cemetery, playground and off leash dog park all in one. You’ll learn all about local history as you walk through the graves. You’ll recognise the names on the headstones - Berry, Wollstonecraft and co. The crypts and monuments are impressive. The playground is completely fenced. Lots of fun equipment to enjoy including a train. It’s also a dog off leash park. There’s always a roll of free poo bags on offer and a water refill station. The off-leash area is not fully enclosed but it is huge, so your fur ball is unlikely to escape. It gets quite muddy after rain, so you may need to wash your pooch. Lots of free parking in the surrounding streets.
