With picturesque views, including a serene backdrop of boats gently bobbing at the nearby marina, its an idyllic setting for a day out. While parking can be challenging to find, this minor inconvenience is offset by the grounds easy accessibility and the overall quality of the facilities. Whether youre here to play or just enjoy the atmosphere, this cricket ground is definitely worth a visit.

Sydney Explorer Very nice place for night walk with your partner . Must wear footwear because of sand throughtout the walk.

Ste Withington Small platform overlooking the lake and the sand dunes. I had no idea it was here, but its just off the path on the left before you start moving up the sandy slope. Very picturesque. You get to it down the gravel track, which is gated to stop cars travelling down. But on foot youll find it about 10 mins down.

KnowOne !! The sand dunes are a must-visit spot, tucked away in the more hidden area at the back of the beach. Getting there can be a bit challenging and tiring—the trail involves going downhill, climbing uphill, and walking on soft sand that easily fills your shoes. The path is quite narrow, with bushes encroaching from both sides, so staying alert is essential. Be mindful of wildlife, especially snakes; I encountered a red-bellied snake on my way. For this trek, I highly recommend carrying essentials like a water bottle, a hat, and sunglasses, particularly on hot days. If you start from the beach and walk all the way to where the trail ends at Captain Cook Drive, the total distance is about 5 km—so plan your trip accordingly.

D N Beautiful beach with plenty of places to eat around it. You can walk along the way for a distance, and you could catch the ferry on the other side of the area. Bathrooms nearby
