Edward Poljak Beautiful secluded cove on port hacking near Cronulla. A great private place for sunbaking and a swim as its always secluded from the wind. There is a playground for kids and clean amenities.

Salmon Haul is the Gordons Bay of the south. You’d never know it was here, unless you looked it up on maps, as the entrance is a nondescript path leading down between the fancy houses of this quiet suburb.
We were told to go around either side of high tide, to make entering from the rocky shoreline easier, and we’re glad we did. It doesn’t look like much from the shore, but beneath the surface there are plenty of different species of fish and even some super-cute and curious squid! It was a bit windy and choppy on the day we visited, which hampered the visibility, but we think that a calm day could be well worth returning for.
It was hard to find out more about the origins of the name, beyond the fact that it had been referred to that way for over 100 years for the obvious reason. It was highly-utilised Gweagal site before European settlement. The rock shelters around there would have offered protection and privacy while providing sweeping views of the waterways and surrounding land.

Priyank Pashine Beautiful sheltered cove, nice place to snorkel when the swell is low, can easily spot 15-20 different varieties of sea life on a good day.

Byron P Can easily get busy but always a lovely spot, parking is just on the street above which can prove challenging, and staircase is a steep pinch out but well worth it for paradise realtively secluded for cronulla standards, is a part of awesome foreshore walk which means toilets nearby but great spot itself for a swim
