The Waterrun

Camila Silva Amazing place, you can sit down at the bottom part, where the waves hit the rock wall, be careful not to go too close, as you can get very wet and the rocks are slippery. You can simply sit down, away from the edge, enjoy the sound of the waves crashing and the spectacular view of the ocean and the cliff.

Darook Park

Nathan Shardlow Beautiful little hidden beach a short walk from a locked gate at the end of Darook Park Road… Nice little grassy area overlooking the beach as you walk down with a seating bench and sign warning of massive fines for vandalising trees… Once you get to the bottom you are greeted by a large grassy area with plenty of trees for shade and a decent toilet public block… Bins are provided for your rubbish, and the water is crystal clear and very shallow… Even on the high tide you can walk about 100m out and still have your head above water, which makes it a very safe swimming for young families… Be careful exploring the ricks at the north end of the beach, as they are covered in moss and therefore very slippery in sections

The Balconies

Mark Titley Stunning area of NSW and the Royal National Park. The perfect place to spot Whales(June/July) or shoot the perfect landscape or just watch the waves underneath you. Part of a much bigger walk that you can take to Marley Beach or even further (up to 26km) along the coast. Amazing & highly recommended!

Wedding Cake Rock Trail

Pincy Jones Pretty amazing spot. The initial walk is relatively easy but there are a couple of spots to be cautious of especially if its been raining the day before. Still plenty of whales around in early October and there was also a pod of Dolphins on my walk. Best to go early in the morning for parking.

Evelyn Liong Cute older style ferry. Runs regularly, fun activity to do with the kids on a day trip to Bundeena.

Cliff Walk

Javier Gómez GarcĆa Moderate walk through the bushes and alongside the ocean. We started in Wattamolla Picnic area and the trek is very well preserved and the cliffs walk alongside the ocean is amazing. Better to buy parking ticket online before going, the machines there sometimes don’t work

National park

Ned Marjanovic Cruising through Royal National Park—twists, trees, ocean breeze, and Van Morrison’s Days Like This in the background. One of the most beautiful rides around Sydney. Just the road, the rhythm, and that perfect kind of peace.
