3 /5 Adam Smith: The oval is a little difficult to find for someone who has never been to the area before as it is tucked away at the end of a narrow road with no real signage.
There are limited parks along the street close to the track entrance (although cars could get down to the oval, there is a locked gate). Access down to the oval is a steep drop, and it is a squeeze to get a pram around the gate.
People with mobility issues will struggle to get down to the oval and even more trying to get back up the hill.
The fencing and other infrastructure items around the oval are quite old and are in need of a refresh. The bushland around is quite thick and overthrowing into the oval surrounds in places.
The oval itself has a cricket pitch in the centre (concrete with synthetic grass on top), but it is not in the best state of repair. The playing surface is well grassed but is uneven due to wildlife activity. It is suitable enough for kids soccer (there is provision for 2 games to be played at once).
There are public toilets next to the oval, but they do not appear to be regularly serviced.
The local councils website mentioned a BBQ, but we could not find it.
There is a bush walking route that passes through. The surrounding bushland is nice, with abundant wildlife visible and heard in location.
The rating given is for the oval itself and not the surrounding area.
