4 /5 Leigh Tulley: Love this bridge, but hate taking photos from it because of the metal bars. Unless you have a lanyard on your device, its a bit nerve wracking hanging your phone over that drop!
great place for sunrise captures, fireworks and just a beautiful view of the Parramatta river snaking its way from the western suburbs into the harbour
4 /5 Jeremy YEN: If youre going towards Drummoyne from Huntleys Point, pedestrian access to the bridge is via entrance from Huntleys Point Road - you can locate this using Google Street View.
The view from the bridge is unfortunately obscured by the protective metal bars, but it offers great photos - particularly during jacaranda season. WARNING - dont drop your phone/camera
5 /5 Helen Di Domenico: The bridge is longer than you think when trying to walk it! Gently sloping up and down, its not too difficult to walk it - even with a pram/stroller. Used to live in the area and had gorgeous views overlooking the bridge. Have watched the fireworks from here but it was a bit of a fight to get near the railings unless you are prepared to arrive a couple of hours beforehand.
5 /5 Grant Hudson: Gladesville Bridge is a heritage-listed concrete arch road bridge that carries Victoria Road over the Parramatta River, linking the Sydney suburbs of Huntleys Point and Drummoyne, in the local government areas of Canada Bay and Hunters Hill, in New South Wales, Australia. Despite its name, the bridge is not in Gladesville.
5 /5 Aj Aljohani: Amazing view , you can see the beautiful part in Sydney . Need 30 min to walk through the bridge βοΈ
Prakash Radhakrishnan My kid loved this park. This is probably the most lively park I have seen in this area. A good number of kids were playing and equal number of dogs were running around in the football pitch. The facilities were good.
Liv Nix This is such a lovely spot. Main reason I discovered it is its off leash so I could go with my dog. Really pretty area with a lovely walk. There is a giant tree that has roots hanging from it so my kids always stop for a swing. There is a swing in the on- leash area too and since picnic tables
Patrick Ryan This is classic Sydney foreshore infrastructure. A high quality gem that is totally unexpected. There is a beautiful raised walk around the mangroves that kids and dogs alike will enjoy and itβs nicely maintained. In most other countries, walks like this are blocked off as private land, but this is a wonderful hidden space that anyone can enjoy. There is even a small labyrinth under a massive old Fig tree that someone with private land has had the good nature to share.
