4 /5 Adam Smith: Tucked away in close proximity to bushland, this park works its way down to a soccer field via a sandstone shelf. Access downhill is either via a set of narrow stairs cut into the sandstone or via the relatively steep single lane driveway (closed to public vehicles, but accessible on foot). The driveway does allow access for Prams or mobility devices, but its a steep incline backup.
Street parking is available in close proximity along a leafy residential street.
The park starts with some bench seating along the top (above the sandstone shelf) and works down to a bbq area with benches and tables. The two electric bbqs are in relatively good condition. There is a small playground (with a slide and a ring swing). There could be more playground equipment here to cater to a larger age group of children. The one thing missing is public toilets, and there are no options close by.
Down the bottom, there is a basic playing field that is marked out for soccer with soccer goals in place. Being at the bottom of the slope, the field can become a bit boggy at times.
There is also a concrete pad with a basketball hoop. The basketball court lines are faded and could do with a repaint, but its a nice usable space.
Overall, a great little multi use space in a picturesque setting.
