nswtrip Apinya Enjoy short walking to river. Exploring native plants When you walk through the end of river, you will see the small tablet. Enjoy and relax with nature. :)

Hong Nguyen A beautiful reserve with many exits. Once you are at creek-level, the trees tower over you so high. Its lovely. There are many different mushrooms to find after it rains. There are also a lot of stairs as Chatswood is very hilly. Its a very peaceful place.
5 /5
Kent Petersen Beautiful area. Mossy rocks, green ferns, flowing stream, and trails navigating through the area

Ali Akbari We missed the wisteria blooms and in the absence of that, it is just an ok small local park. Its beautiful and good for many activities for kids and local families.
3 /5
Yujan Shrestha Beautiful small garden near chatswood. Surprisingly quiet being next to busy road. We have been visiting this place every spring for past five years now. You will be amazed with the great wistera blossom during spring. A small stream runs in the middle of the garden and there is bridge to cross. No much water but u can spot some ducks and other birds too. Small playgrounds, kids play area and bbq available too. Toilets available. Great place for for picnics but our pick is "i love pizza willoughby "
5 /5
yuki xu This is a great place for families and friends to meet. Every September, when spring comes, the wisteria flowers are full of long corridors, giving you a romantic and charming feeling!
5 /5
Alice Not super busy lush treed park. Playground for the kids. Tables for a picnic. Its on the main road but you dont notice. Gorgeous wisteria tunnel. This was a fun one to visit.
5 /5
orange_tree_au Its a small park near Chatswood Chase. Theres a wisteria-covered tunnel thats meant to bloom in spring but it was all green when we visited a few days ago (Oct). But still pretty cool to wander through it, feels like something out of a fairytale. Doesnt seem to be much else at the park besides a bbq area and a creek.

Sarah Middleton Went here with the kids last weekend, and it’s a cracker of a spot. Everything is clean, safe, and well maintained. The big slide is always a hit, and there’s plenty of room for the little ones to run around. A top place for a family outing.
5 /5
jing liu Nice little park sits conveniently next to Westfield centre. Lots of infrastructures for toddlers, my 1.5-year-old daughter had quite some fun. The only issue to me was when we arrived around 4pm the park was kind of busy and there were older teenagers playing trampoline and other infrastructures beside smaller kids. Ill be a little bit more alert of my kids safety.
4 /5
k c “hec” Accessible and convenient location close to train station for a respite from the concrete jungle and busy streets of Chatswood. Minus is of course very limited street parking. Could do well with more varied interesting plants and more non bulky benches and tables in view of the small area. In other words, an improvement In landscaping.
3 /5
A B Chatswood park is fantastic. There are 2 slides for older and younger kids, swings, 2 trampolines and a big Kookaburra statue. There is a nice skate park in the park to ride a skateboard or bike. It is behind the cricket ground on the corner of orchard Street and Albert Street.
5 /5
Shanahan Matthew (Matt) A lovely little fenced childrens park with two slides, three swings, a swinging basket, two trampolines and new webbed climbing equipment. There are various rocky areas to play in, as well as seats and a table for the adults. Next to the childrens park is a small grassed area, skate park and cricket oval. The park is very conveniently located near Chatswood train station and the shops. There is plenty of parking at the nearby Westfield and Mandarin Centre parking stations.

Jenny So clean! First time being here and it was a good experience! Thought the inside was bigger like Capitol or opera house but its smaller. At least it seems like were closer to the stage :)
4 /5
Simba Singh Great little place. Would be nice to have more verities of classy alcoholic drinks. Nice single malt with ice while watching the act and more varieties of bites. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and welcoming and so was the place. Would definitely come back.
5 /5
Vaughan Dunn Saw Mike Stern & Dennis Chambers here on 14 Feb 2025 as well as Robben Ford on 6 Mar 2025 at The Lounge. Fabulous intimate venue, ideal for jazz and reminiscent of a larger edition of The Basement (which was the last Sydney venue I saw both Mike Stern and Robben Ford play in the mid-90s/ early 2000s) Wonderful ambience, lighting and sound set the standard for a night of high quality music interplay for which these performers are world renowned.
5 /5
Richard Chieh Chatswood Concourse- the concert hall locates at the CBD of Chatswood. Parking is convenient, either at Westfield or its basement carpark. The stage is not big but good enough for general performance. The seats are standard and not very comfortable. The amenities are good and there is one small bar locates at Ground level.

5 /5
Maciej K A small park (unfortunately), not so crowdy. You can find here a BBQ place, do workout or play with children.
4 /5
Hadley Stewart Best place to relax and exercise in the morning and evening. Very clean area to enjoy an impressive environment!!!! Highly Recommended!!
5 /5
Jennifer Williams Great quiet shady park with picnic tables and play equipment for children and exercise equipment for adults. Fresh water bubbler and a tap for filling up pets dishes.
5 /5
Yayii Good park to sit and relax for a while, the kids play area is "ok" The only thing there for kids older than toddler years is the slide and swings besides that they can also run around. I would suggest the council upgrades the playground area there. More fun for small and bigger kids

Elsye Sj There’s a gated playground area for little kids. And open sporting grounds for bigger kids and dogs to run around. I also saw a group of elderly playing lawn ball.
5 /5
Miki Clarke A really nice hidden, little playground which has been newly renovated and so updating to 5 stars. It still has free BBQs and a good set of swings (two baby, one big kid and one accessible) but now the train has been restored, the slide repainted and a new see-saw car added. Perfect for a stop off after shopping in Chatswood.
4 /5
Margaret Hur Perfect for toddlers, shady, lovely with a little train that they can take turns pretending to drive. It also has a picnic shelter and barbecue facility-- great little park. I wish they kept up a bit more with the upkeep, it could be really pretty if they maintained the area a bit better
5 /5
Adrian Cheng Small local park with some seats/tables and a BBQ. The play area is small, simple but my little loves any kind of slide! Small circular track for little scooters. Can feel a bit crowded if there are some social activities in the background..
4 /5
Jason Hollis Great play area for kids. Big oval to kick a ball and run around

9.Currey Park

Imges Currey Park

(31) Reviews Currey Park:

Alice This park is nice to walk through, and despite backing a huge carpark has a lot of birds chirping away. In particular it is infested with bush turkeys which are one of the funniest birds around. One of them sweeps the bark into the pathway everyday - and every day some poor sod has to sweep the bark back up. Nonetheless it is quite relaxing and I really enjoy the space.
5 /5
Matthew Stevens Not much here, just a quiet spot to sit. Does not have a kids playground but has a small grass area if you want to kick or throw a ball.
5 /5
Chris Wyatt This park is named after local resident Henry Currey who gave it to council in 1897. It features a fountain and sculpture dedicated to ‘Tingha Woman’ (a story from a mining town near Inverell that is explained on the plaque next to the fountain) and an octopus sculpture and several large trees and ferns. The park curves around in a ‘L’ shape from Tingha Street to the other end at Victor Street.
4 /5
Rijah Small park. Nice for walking. A fountain is there inside the park . Interesting history.

Charu Sharma Its a pretty good park for kicking the ball around and there is a small park near the main entrance with swings and play area.
5 /5
Gary Fung I love the picnic area, very spacious and enjoyed spending valuable time with my children.
5 /5
Adam Smith This large park is tucked away in the suburban side streets of Chatswood. It is also an approximate and 10 minute walk from the CBD, main shopping area and station. It is close proximity to a child care facility. It has a naturally turfed multi-purpose playing field (most common is cricket in summer and soccer in winter). Theres also a decent children’s playground off on side of the oval area. The playing field area is also an off-leash dog park in the afternoons and evenings and outside of sports timings. The playground is spacious and is also fenced with child gate access. The extensive play equipment is suitable for little ones and for the more adventurous. Play equipment includes: swings, slides, climbing frame, spinner, scooter/trike tracks, and sandpit. There are picnic tables and seats in the playground area. One minor is that the public toilets are located across the other side of the 1 playing field (in the change room/clubhouse building). This is slightly problematic if you have multiple children with you. Access to the playground, playing field, and public toilets is easy for Prams, those with mobility aids and wheelchairs. Most of the area is flat, and where it is not, there is ramp access. Street parking is easy on Stanley Street and surrounding streets.

Freckle Milo Shady fenced park that is dog friendly until 11am. There is a picnic area within the park that is fenced off again to prevent hungry dogs from stealing food. Toilet present but I did not check it. However the dogs we met there were slightly aggressive.
3 /5
Maureen Knox Very pretty little park with fenced off area for dogs! And a separate playground for the kids!
5 /5
Gracia Quek Medium playground with alot of open space. There are BBQ pits, toilets and lots of picnic tables.
4 /5
belinda stewart Great meeting place for parents of young children. Swings and play equipment with picnic tables and barbecue. This is an average sized park with a clean toilet and lots of shade. The play area is fenced off from another big area that is a dog walking section at certain times of day. There is a dog drinking bowl and tap. This is a very pretty recreational park on a main road without a playing field. The fenced separation is very practical and safe, but at times can feel a bit caged.
4 /5
Annette Hughes Excellent juxtaposition of a dog park next to a childrens playground. Fun & varied play equipment for kids, expansive area for dogs, with picnic tables & toilets. Ground cover is mostly native litter so worth considering footwear.

Mike Li Small park with BBQ station, small basketball court and full size football court, no toilet.

Adam Smith Tucked away in close proximity to bushland, this park works its way down to a soccer field via a sandstone shelf. Access downhill is either via a set of narrow stairs cut into the sandstone or via the relatively steep single lane driveway (closed to public vehicles, but accessible on foot). The driveway does allow access for Prams or mobility devices, but its a steep incline backup. Street parking is available in close proximity along a leafy residential street. The park starts with some bench seating along the top (above the sandstone shelf) and works down to a bbq area with benches and tables. The two electric bbqs are in relatively good condition. There is a small playground (with a slide and a ring swing). There could be more playground equipment here to cater to a larger age group of children. The one thing missing is public toilets, and there are no options close by. Down the bottom, there is a basic playing field that is marked out for soccer with soccer goals in place. Being at the bottom of the slope, the field can become a bit boggy at times. There is also a concrete pad with a basketball hoop. The basketball court lines are faded and could do with a repaint, but its a nice usable space. Overall, a great little multi use space in a picturesque setting.
4 /5
Tom Allen Basic playing field, good for soccer, access is a little limited because of steps down to field.

4 /5
Noah Mag This park is pretty small and in a very random location. it was quite clean, but no bins could be seen. it is not fenced off so children or animals are not safe in this park.
3 /5
Peter Generally a good place to walk the dog ruined on this visit by returfing contractors tearing around on large forklifts and leaving gates open.
2 /5
William Dai Very tranquil, secluded park. Good for location for a private party, general relaxation, large amount of shade and has a BBQ. Lots of parking around as well. I guess the only downside is there are too many trees, may be a hazard in windy days and there are no playground and bathrooms.
