Cleland Park

Bradley Oliver For a good part of 6 months this park was my stop in the morning before work for breakfast. Never been there during the day but in the morning when its still quiet and the air is brisk its a lovely little piece of serenity to escape to before heading back to the concert jungle. The magpies are friendly as well.

Lane Cove National Park

Zuzana Plšková Such a lovely place, very nice walks by the river, and it was clean while we were there. We also arrived after reception hours and simply picked up an envelope with instructions. If you have a tiny tent like us though, make sure the strings are long enough to reach the soil ground, because you cant stick the pegs in the pad.

Hyde Park Barracks

Katie BC Had 1 day in Sydney and came with our 2 girls (age 7 &9) to give them a bit of history before going to other less historical attractions. This place is amazing, I came years ago and its very much upgraded since then. Its completely free and they give you headphones which detects your location and talks you through all the history as you move through the rooms. So interesting, it really brings the stories to life. We had to rush round a bit due to having so much on the agenda but could have spent a while there. The staff were also lovely!

Artarmon Reserve

Chloe M Excellent playground! Ground trampolines, rock climbing wall, four slides, two flying foxes (one chair with seat belts, the other like a t-bar style), large spinning platform (that spins via gravity), climbing frames, covered seating areas! Also spacey for picnic rugs and there is a shaded section for those sunny days
