Dural Lane

Fagan Park

Patrik Jarlestam One of the nicest parks I’ve been to in the city (and outskirts). Calm and expansive with lots of fun little places to check out the different garden sections. I really enjoyed getting to check out the homesteadthe mechanical/tractor shed (pics supplied) and its garden, and then just walking around and reading about all the gardening projects that are being created. Well worth a whole day visit, being along a picknick setup, standard park electric barbecues are available, very kids friendly and just a lovely outing for a day!

Sphinx Memorial

Kelly S Great walk. One I will happily do again. Fire trail portion can be monotonous and hot but worth it if you dont want lots of steps to climb. You dont have to take the firetrail section. You can grab a cold drink at the marina or visitor centre.

Beatrice Thomson Park

Musleh Uddin Rishad I dont usually live near by, its just me and my friend sometime park my car on the road and have food. Thus google map wants me to review it. Its a park, whats there to review about?? Anyways, let me try.... it is small yes. Dont know whether it has toilet facility or not or may be a water fountain to drink water from, but if it does then big thumbs up. Mostly crowded with kids and their moms.

Galston Gorge

J Evans Took my mum on a bushwalk between Horsnby and Galston Gorge. The walk is mostly flat with a few sections of steep, Blue Mountains-like climbing out of valleys. The majority of the walk is on fire trails so is beginner-friendly. We saw an echidna and plenty of birds along the way!
