Since attending the Ashburton Dental Clinic and have had Madeline as my dentist I have been impressed by the way she explains my dental needs and the the thoroughness of her treatments including the explanations of what could be and what is being done. Andrew Lockwood Our family of 5 have been treated by Peter for close on 20 years and I have to say that Peter has been a delight to deal with. A consummate professional, discusses everything up front, presents options. Weve had tricky orthodontic work too and Peter has worked cooperatively with that also. My wife hates going to the dentist - any dentist - but Peter has been a great comfort and dealt patiently with her phobia - which is a good thing because genetics have not favoured her, in the teeth department. As far as charging, he seems to be reasonable but lets face it, which part of dental is cheap?

Fun Lam A root canal procedure on one of my teeth was performed by Dr Emanuel Plataniotis today. My last one (on a different tooth) was done about 10 years ago. Dr Plataniotis is excellent at his work, he is warm, kind and personable. I felt at ease throughout the procedure and he briefly explained what he was doing as he went along. My experience today was the same as it was 10 years ago - professional, efficient and reassuring are the words to describe my experience. I highly recommend Dr Plataniotis especially if you are anxious about dental work. Thank you also to his competent and excellent support team.

Dr Plataniotis always helped me feel at ease and informed about my procedures and has a warm and friendly temperament. Yolanda and Irene have also been really accommodating and patient with scheduling when my life was a bit hectic! There is another lady with blonde hair and I don’t quite remember her name from my last visit (please forgive me!! It was ages ago when we met) but I remember her being very friendly and a good vibe as well. All in all, I will miss going here for my dentistry and highly recommend their services ☺️

sumeet kaur I had got a filling done here last year and the dentist did it so deep that it touched the nerve. I have to go through root canal now to fix his mistake. Also, requested him to check the other tooth and see if it has any cavaties. He checked and said all other teeth are fine though there was a cavity in one more tooth which I got to know from my current dentist. I would have lost two teeth if I had continued to see him.

Susan Miller You shouldnt feel angry after calling a dentist but thats how i felt every time I called this dentist. The receptionist does not belong anywhere people. She is rude and nasty. Nasty because she changed the clinic from a family friendly one to a transactional/its my way or the highway one and quite vindictive.....long story. I have left the clinic after many years due to this woman. Just not worth getting upset every time i need an appointment.

Gale Grazutis The experience at Cambridge dental has been nothing but first class. Arjay and the girls are fabulous to say they go above and beyond is an understatement. Arjay always enquies about my other health problems. And he doesnt just ask to be polite he is truly interested. I live in Balaclava there are three dentists in my street but will alway attend Cambrige dental. Arjay has the most gental hands and is very cuncernendu if you are on pain or not. . I could possibly recommend them any more.

Christie Granger A fantastic, patient focused family dental clinic. Everything was explained very clearly and kindly and the staff were great. I had to take my 6month old to my 1 hour appointment and the team were so helpful, the receptionist even came to take him for a walk when he started to get grizzly. I have also taken my 4 year old daughter and again the service was fantastic.

Instead of providing the necessary care, they continuously made excuses and failed to take responsibility for proper treatment. They relied on bureaucratic tactics to make me feel unwelcome and ultimately succeeded in avoiding their duty of care. This level of incompetence is unacceptable in a healthcare setting. I am in the process of making a formal complaint to ensure others do not have to go through the same experience. I strongly advise seeking a more competent and ethical dental professional elsewhere".

Lisha Jayne I couldn’t be happier with the services provided, especially with the wonderful ladies at the front desk, specifically Joanne and Heather! They’ve always made me feel welcome with absolutely no judgement and always went above and beyond to get me appointments when needed. They definitely deserve some recognition for the amazing work they do. I have seen several of the dentists, all have been lovely despite all the complications Ive had during my extensive treatment. There was one dentist unfortunately who was very derogatory because I couldnt afford private dental health care like her, which had brought me to tears on this occasion. In a public health care setting and not knowing individual patients situations, this is highly inappropriate and wish I got her name for it to be addressed.
