Antonella Celi I experienced my first cryo session today. I felt very comfortable as Jenna introduced me to the treatment and walked me through the cryo process and treatment. The cryo is an amazing therapeutic experience to destress and I noticed a significant difference in my vitality and wellbeing after the first session. The location in Rye was easy to access, with ocean views and a tranquil ambience. Ill be back soon to indulge in the other state of the art therapeutic treatments. Thank you.

Barbara Andolfi First time at Hvezda today after relocating to the area. Terrific service with a light head, neck & shoulder massage to start then a hand massage at the basin whilst my hair conditioner was in. Lovely staff who listened to what i did and didnt want and the result was a spot on hair colour. Price is comparable to my other salon, but I felt very pampered and relaxed with the extra attention and will definitely go back. Another mention is that they offer curly cut services which I will take up, as my son has a mop of curls that are overdue for some love and what better place to go than to a salon whose owner has curly hair herself. Thanks so much Hvezda - spot on service.

Equine System Incredible happy place, service is above and beyond what I was expecting. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with genuine, happy, warm, smiles. They asked about the pressure and changed it if needed. The hour went so fast, will definitely be back. The room was super relaxing and the staff very professional.

I’ve been getting my eye brows waxed and tinted with Sarah for around 6 months and she does a great job. I’ve also had a facial here which was so lovely. Highly recommend

Casey B Ive had my make up done twice at Akuna and have loved both experiences. The first was 5 years ago and the second time a few weeks ago. I adore that we have an option on the peninsula to get natural make up done and the atmosphere at Akuna is so relaxing and welcoming. Getting my Make up done recently- unfortunately the make up artist was sick that day which cant be helped. Akuna went to the effort of trying to find another artist to fill in and when that didnt work out one of the lovely beauty therapist offered to do my makeup rather than cancel. I was beyond thrilled with this as I am useless with make up and had a family photo shoot that evening. Kaitlyn was so friendly, kind and made me feel very comfortable. I absolutely loved the makeup she did for me, I felt like myself and was confidently able to show up for my photoshoot. I got some beautiful photos done with my family to cherish forever, thank you for being a part of that ◡̈

Amelia Tingey I just got my nails done there and I am actually horrified with the outcome, I feel as though I could have done my nails better myself and I have never even done them before. I showed the lady a photo and she did the total opposite. The lady was also rushing the entire time and did not make it comfortable for me in anyway. Go here if you would like nails the opposite of what you asked for!

Robert Follis very nice small salon, in the busy season you definitely need to make an appointment. I have regular manicures and pedicures. Just the simple without anything fancy and they do a very good job. They also have a full range of colours shellac, etc which my wife rather likes. Definitely recommended by me and also the bonus of easy parking in the shopping centre car park.

Natski A Total Disaster - Avoid at All Costs! I went in for a infill, and I can honestly say it was the worst infill Ive ever had. I’m a local and have tried this place 3 times, each time it gets worse. I had an older lady in the glasses today she is the worst nail technician and i don’t believe she’s licensed. Firstly HER nails were dirty i didn’t even want her touching mine. Secondly she hardly used any acrylic on my nails and didn’t fill in the nail bed with visible gaps that made them look worse than before. My nails are now bumpy, super thin all different lengths & shapeless. Thirdly her painting skills are like a 5 year old child! Paint everywhere!! Please don’t let this lady touch another customer!!! The male owner doesn’t give a shit about the locals he just looks after tourists i noticed and rush’s the regulars for the tourist dollar. Pleasing the locals should be your first priority because they are return customers! Not the tourists that come in once or twice a year. Save your money and your nails this place is a complete disaster!

Danielle Roman I had a really disappointing experience at this nail bar. When removing my old acrylics, the technician tried to lift them off using a false nail instead of acetone, which was incredibly painful. After I spoke up and explained that it was hurting, they finally used acetone, but it shouldn’t have taken me asking for it. The filing process was way too rough, and it actually felt like my nails were burning. Concerned about the glue used for acrylic tips (which is what I usually get), I opted for SNS instead, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, the result was far from what I expected. I chose a lilac color, but it wasn’t applied properly—it doesn’t fully cover my nails, leaving parts of them exposed, which makes them look unfinished. On top of that, the SNS is so thick that it just looks bulky and unprofessional. Overall, this was not worth the time or money, and I won’t be returning.

Bek Keating-Pask Johnny and Leah do a fantastic job, I see Leah every few weeks for acrylic refills and they last for ages! Always very happy, highly recommend!

Lily Phung They were just a bit rude but also, they didnt realise that I understood Vietnamese and made fun of me which is probably what they do in regards to a lot of people coming through the door. Pedicure was ok, but not attentive enough and nail polish was all over my toes. Manicure (gel) was again not tentive enough and after a day the polish was peeling and nails were getting chipped. Not great for what you pay.

Sienna Tairi This place has made both myself and my friends whole holiday. We came to get our nails done for new years and they definitely did not disappoint. They were pretty busy but had our nails done in a short amount of time. Definitely Recommend!!
