Such a warm, homely feel as soon as you step foot in their salon, and the instant results I received from just 1 visit, I was amazed! But when she’s gone on holiday in the past I have had Lily and Katie(maybe Kate?) and they are also brilliant. I cannot fault a single tech there. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. The owner Nikki is like a mother hen to everyone and knows each person by name. It feels like a community as much as a place to get nails done!

Kristen Cutting Have been going to Feeling Smooth for nearly 13 years and I’m always keen to come back due to their excellent customer service and amazing skills. Today I had the most divine hydrafacial with the lovely Alicia. The experience was both relaxing and invigorating. My skin feels so plump and smooth which is usually really dry and sensitive. Highly recommend!

Meli Roams The staff was professional, polite, and friendly. The beauticians were thorough with the waxing, which wasn’t as painful as other waxing experiences. I was in two minds about getting a spray tan because I had an event that night, and I had had several bad experiences with other beauticians with spray tan, leaving me bright orange. But the spray tan at Feeling Smooth was definitely worth it. It doesn’t leave you with that chemical smell like other spray tans, and I’m not bright orange, either! It is important to book ahead because they are popular. The shop on Bay Street also has free parking, and I somehow fluked a spot right out the front—twice!

Tegan Reincke My first experience to Eternal Beauty on a last minute appointment and I am so pleased I did. Amelia was absolutely wonderful. I had the Rejuvenation treatment special involving a micro, LED light, Vitamin C infusion and hydration mask with a massage. I left with glowing and hydrated skin from when I entered and felt very relaxed! I have scheduled re-peat appointments with Amelia.

Clinic was clean and tidy and location is convenient. On my way out I met Megan who took the time to consult on another treatment I was interested in. Ill be back!

Spiro Pantazopoulos I would not recommend this skin and laser clinic to anyone. The staff turnover is alarming, which is clearly a result of poor leadership. The owner, is unprofessional—never willing to admit fault and always ready with an excuse. One of the major issues is their 150-unit Botox package. When you purchase it, you’re expected to use all 150 units in a single session, with no option to carry over unused units. But what if you don’t need that much? Over-injecting can lead to unnatural results or even facial disfigurement—why would any reputable practitioner encourage this? The pricing is also misleading. You’re quoted one price over the phone, only to be told something different once you’re in the clinic—at which point, you’re somehow in the wrong. The owner is stubborn and dismissive, making for a frustrating experience. As you can see when he doesnt get a good review he is very dismissive and name calling. Obvously very mature of a professional business owner. They claim to be the cheapest Botox clinic in Melbourne, but the poor customer service and constant staff changes say otherwise. Many former injectors have left due to the owner’s poor management, which speaks volumes. No one has anything good to say about him! To make matters worse, the product itself is questionable. While Botox should last 8-12 weeks, here you’ll be lucky if it lasts four. It wouldn’t be surprising if the low prices are due to highly diluted products. This review is not just on behalf of me but on behalf of many friends or family who have frequented the clinic over the last few years and say the same things. I havent been in 3 years, but clearly nothing has improved in that time. Steer clear of this place!

Marina Spanos I had dysport ( $4) a unit injected into 3 areas 2 weeks later I noticed nothing had changed A week after that I noticed a slight change! A week after that the lines reappeared ! It was like the dysport lasted 1 week that is all! I spent approximately $400. I rang the owner explained the situation and from what I understood he booked me in for a top up (free) I go to the salon today at the appointed time waited for 20 mins to be told that the work performed on my face was normal and we cannot touch up for free! I have been to other salons and the results were amazing! I went to this place because of the affordability! Wrong!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!! Do not be fooled by the price!!

Nori I have waxing and eyelashes done regularly at Sol Brow&Lashes. The girls are extremely professional and friendly. Amazing results every time, they also accommodate me whenever I need last minute touch up. A wide variety of service too. Couldn’t ask for more. Strongly recommend!

Daniella Malak Worst experience ever. I have paid 130$ for a 30 min deep massage and was expecting it to be phenomenal but turned out below average. Although I requested a firm pressure since its a deep massage, the type of pressure used was light and it lasted only for 15 to 20 mins. So disappointing. Also the facial wasnt so good. Never coming back.

The process was streamlined and easy and the girls assisting us were very polite. The rooms were clean, tidy and had a relaxing vibe. We were provided with a choice for every step of our massage from essential oils to massage pressure. We will definitely be returning.

Candy Smith Disappointing experience. I booked 2 days before on a Saturday calling the Port Melbourne number. The reception (or whoever answered) asked which location to which I replied Port Melbourne. I explained what I wanted over the phone and was told I should select relaxation massage. The receptionist took basic information and confirmed the booking - a 1.5hr massage. 10am - 11:30am, $210. On Monday morning I got a call at 9:59am to confirm I would be attending. I arrived at 10:04am. I was ushered into a white room with loud music. I had to complete paper work. By 10:07am I’d finished. At 10:10am I was taken to the massage room and had a brief consult. I had asked for the head rest to be adjusted as it was too low. The head rest was adjusted to a very high position. Also not suitable. The therapist offered me a second table and left the room for privacy. I checked my phone. It was 10:20am and not massage had started. I told the therapist of my focus area. The focus area wasnt touched. Actually, completely avoided. At payment, I’d handed over my $200 voucher and told I had to pay a further $18. I said I was told $210. The additional amount adjusted. I told the receptionist of my above experience. I said I paid for 1.5hr massage and got 1.25hrs, so I’ve effectively paid $25 to complete the registration form. The receptionist said when making a booking you should have been told to come 15 minutes early. I got a flat sorry. That’s it. The massage was okay but not $210. If expensive massages is your thing, then maybe shop around use Endota Spa. Their booking experience and facilities are nicer. Or visit a physio if you’re not worried about the chanting monk music.

Isabelle Kulick I LOVE CHARLIE. Literally don’t want to go to anyone else. I feel like she understands the vibe in every convo and also does such an AMAZING job!! When I have gone to others for waxing and tinting I’ve liked them, Georgia is great at waxing she’s quick and efficient. But I find that Charlie is the most knowledgeable and experienced. I’ve been going to Brazilian butterfly for a long time and have experienced there tumultuous moments as well, getting messed around a bit when a staff member left spontaneously a few christmases ago, and Di the owner did everything in her power to make it right and fix all that got switched around given the chaos of Christmas rushes. Di is very accomodating and helpful, managing the business well.

Camelia Anabelle More I would not recommend the tan I had there amazing ones but lately I’ve been having terrible experience. Last time I encountered up like a clown now is even worse. I had patches left untouched on my legs , people stoped me on the street to comment how a terrible job they did . Negin Abd I just did a full set of SNS ( French) with someone called Nguyen , she is lovely but my nails looked so fake and uneven, she even was getting offended when I was trying to give my opinion and request during the appointment. I had to go back and get them removed , she said she is sorry but never offered me a refund, even with removing she asked me to do the removal myself which I find it to be rude.

I have never been disappointed by their services. The salon is light, bright and super clean. Everyone who works at Nu Vogue makes the entire experience relaxing and fun. I also get my brows waxed at Nu Vogue and love the results. All the pricing is very reasonable and well worth it!

courtney youngman Unfortunately the experience at Nu Vogue was very disappointing, I went here as a one off as my tight schedule to get it done before Derby Day meant I couldnt get in to my usual salon and I work in Port Melbourne so it was convenient. It was clear the staff member was a junior as she made numerous mistakes and had to remove the gel and then repaint over it constantly. This led to 4 coats being applied and as you can see only one week later every nail has either peeled off or is in the process and the underneath layers are wet. I was asked to move from the pedicure section to the nail desk whilst I still had wet nails, no one helped with my bag, shoes etc and I ended up with gel all over my clothes which have required dry cleaning but has stained them. The salon was dirty including the chairs, floor, equipment stands and utensils. There was also nothing between my feet and the basin, usually there is a removable bag in the spa that is changed between clients, not the case here either. I have attached photos of both the salon this was as I arrived and as you can see extremely dirty with someone elses skin shavings underneath me as I was seated. Nu the owner was lovely but obviously one person cannot do everything and my nails should have been checked before I left given she knew the problems the young lady was having. Very unsatisfied with the $85 I spent here.

Rachael Marie I have gotten my nails done here twice. Please do not let them use the electric nail file to remove your existing nail polish. On both occasions, the nails were over filed and become so thin. Even when the polish was gone, both ladies on different occasions were obsessed with continuous filing. Ive had strong, long nails for years and years, with people including nail techs mistaking my nails natural nails for acrylics because theyre so healthy and good. Unfortunately, my natural nails are now absolutely ruined. Theyre so flimsy, bendy and damaged they resemble wet spaghetti. Care should have been taken with protecting the nail, not just the artistry side of things. Ive spent two hours carefully removing the polish revealing unusable nails. Ive cut to the shortest length possible and bought two opi repair treatments. This place will be fine for nails that arent requiring polish removal, otherwise stay clear if you want to keep your nails.

I wouldnt recommend going here.

Meli Roams Getting your nails done is a simple little weekend treat, and it’s done well at Port Melb Nails & Beauty. It’s usually very busy, but they always have room for one more customer, or they will tell you to come back in an hour or so. My nails are left near and tidy with a lovely shade of red. The TV in the corner helps to pass the time, and the reclining chairs are okay but could do with more cushioning.

I found they were a little inconsistent with their pricing, so best to check before booking an appointment. They also sell a great range of cosmetics and skin care products. Essential oils and gift packs which are great for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.
