Francesca Di Muccio Michael Togias is a fantastic dentist. He has looked after my familys teeth for the last 15 years. Hes very genuine, and we enjoy visiting him. Unlike my previous dentist, he doesnt over-service or expose us to unnecessary radiation (x-rays). Hes a skilled practitioner and an excellent communicator. Id definitely recommend him!

Jeremy M Most of the appointment was fine, but I was asked about getting xrays, I asked about other pricing for potential treatments without confirming the xrays, and then the xrays went ahead anyway. Which, no pun intended, left a bad taste in my mouth. I would have likely gotten the xrays anyway, but question and answer is important to me. Then when I went to pay at reception, the stated amount was $100 more then expected. The receptionist found some things had been entered incorrectly, which while rectified quickly may have caught some other people out. Everything else was good, Ashleigh (and sorry I forgot the name of the assistant) was nice and explained everything clearly, chair was comfy, but just those few problems marred the experience.

The procedures were performed with great skill, making it a painless and calm experience despite the extensive work required. Omer Mohamed Ive been to many dentists in my life, but this was by far the best experience. Chris performed a deep clean on my teeth, and a month ago, Nikita completed my root canal. My mouth feels great now. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, and use the latest state-of-the-art equipment. I even requested to have my root canal done without anesthesia and didnt feel a thing. Highly recommend!

The move to Brunswick I wasnt sure about, but easy parking in Barkly Square across the road made it easier than the Elizabeth St roundabout area. Very good shops, including an incredible bread bakery, in Barkly Square. As usual very professional dentistry in really nice beautiful offices. Congratulations on the move.

Pauline Woodman Dr Alain Wong from Barkly Dentalworks is the best dentist that I have ever had. He does an excellent job looking after my teeth and has a warm and friendly manner.This makes you feel calm from the moment you walk in, and throughout the whole procedure. Alain advises you on the best treatment or if an X-ray is required, but leaves all the decisions to you. He also clearly explains everything that he is doing while he works, and his dental nurse is highly skilled and cheerful - making you feel at ease. Alains fees have always been very reasonable. The reception team are welcoming, friendly and efficient; they make you feel relaxed straight away. His new clinic is beautifully appointed and designed - with an attractive and comfortable waiting area. I have been a patient of Alain for 6 years and travel from regional Victoria to Brunswick to see him. I highly recommend Barkly Dentalworks; you couldnt find a better dentist than Dr Alain Wong. Dr. Alain Wong was amazing and so professional. His team are brilliant. I had to get many fillings. We split up the appointments into two separate appointments and they were done in no time. I knew exactly how much they were going to cost before coming to my appointment. I’m usually quite anxious when it comes to going to the dentist but this experience has definitely changed my perspective on going! 10/10. Dr. Alain Wong and his team were so friendly, chatty and helpful. I will be back for my 6 month check up!

Elizabeth Bryer Dr Alain Wong is a terrific dentist. He is unfailingly honest, and very kind, with a gentle and patient manner, who answers any and all questions and centres you and your needs. The dental nurse is also wonderful. I am always nervous in the chair, and was made to feel completely relaxed and in expert hands. Dr Alain saw me outside hours the same day I called, when I was a new patient, because I was in pain. I could not recommend Barkly Dentalworks highly enough.

Chris Woodman I have been a patient of Dr Alain Wong for seven years; firstly in Melbourne, and now at Barkly Dental. His work is excellent, put simply, he is the best dentist I have ever had. I commute from a regional town to see him (a six hour round trip). All the staff at the clinic are very helpful and friendly, and his fees are quite reasonable. All up it’s a reassuring experience.

Going in I thought all I would be getting was a 15 minute chat about my teeth, but instead I had a free x ray, digital 3D teeth moulds as well as a general hygiene check - which ultimately led to me being quoted. I had two root canals treated at the same time and the whole process was quite easy. Even the secretary was first rate.

When I called the hospital the receptionist had immediately put me onto Frank who explained to me the approximate costs in the most honest direct and professional fashion and manner. Contrary to the other ones I called (Seven Different Dental Technicians), Frank was the only one who sounded the most professional and thus I didnt hesitate to make an appointment to go and see him. Due to the complexity of my dental issues, I had to pay several visits and was very happy with the treatment I received from Frank. I would strongly recommend anyone with dental issues to go to this hospital where courtesy and top class quality services are the norms.

As many mentioned in the reviews here, they make you stress free and do the job with a smile. Dr. Boris and Vish has done a great job with my annual dental check up and was a pain-free and smiling experience for me as far as I could remember. I am living in Bendigo but attending this clinic with family due to the beautiful and cost effective service they offer. Nice location, ample parking around, easy access from Metro and tram stations. I m a very nervous person when it comes to tooth removal. But Dr Daniels knowledge, experience, passion, easygoing attitude and kindness made me feel so relaxed to face the challenge. Has to mention the helpful kindness of his assistant staff as well. She knows how to treat their patients with kindness. The cost was unbelievably affordable. Many dental services quoted more than $1000 but only costed $680 all inclusive. Alex, the face of the brand with the lovely smile, is amazing. She exactly knows which requirement should be allocated to which doctor. Thank you so much for all the kindness and help Team. Wouldnt go anywhere again for future tooth care matters.

Michael Simpson I am so happy I found Brunswick Dental Group and Dr Eden Ambrose specifically. Hes so thorough, friendly and calming, really takes the time and effort to diagnose and treat; and now a problem Ive had for two decades as finally healed after two appointments! No other dentist has been able to do this. Ive had problems with bleeding and tender gums for about two decades, and all my previous dentists just gave me cursory cleans - in and out in 10 minutes - and told me "floss and brush and it will go away"... It didnt, until I came here. Very thorough inspection, and an even more thorough clean! Deep right into the problem areas. It was so bad that it needed two hour-long sessions and an anaesthetic, but it didnt hurt at all, and Dr Ambroses bedside manner put me at ease. After the really deep clean, my gums have finally stopped bleeding after twenty years and several different dentists. Dr Ambrose was also kind enough to call me a week later to check that my gums were doing okay. I love this place, and Im recommending it to all my friends. Im coming back here. I feel really cared for, and that they really, genuinely, want the best for your oral health.

But I can honestly say getting a thorough clean from Leianna on a regular basis is not something that I dread/resist at all. She is kind, gentle and extremely comprehensive (also very friendly and makes for a safe environment). Rubys communication was prompt and all staff provided detailed support throughout the consultation process, even offering to squeeze me in at short notice. Rach M. Horrible experience. My crown lasted one year - it’s supposed to last 10-15 years. Communication with the owner was annoying and unpleasant - he was rude, demeaning, unreasonable and patronizing. My initial experience was bad enough (poor communication about what was actually happening, owner being weirdly defensive and lying that I said things I didn’t, etc). But to find out my crown needed to be replaced in a year, was both infuriating but also, given my experience, not surprising. Cannot recommend. The comment below from the company is hilarious!

Ellie Freeman The dentists are wonderful and really care about your comfort. Great if you are nervous or experience pain at the dentist. However, booking an appointment is such a headache and actually puts me off going to the dentist as often as I should. It’s a busy practice so it fills up quickly - but I have a full time job too. I wanted an appointment on a day off, I was told to book it on another day (I picked a day that I am working from home), then to change it to another day (when I was supposed to be going into the office) last minute. I didn’t have my work calendar on me. Then when I got home, I realised I really couldn’t come to that appointment because of work - so I asked to change again, and finally got an appointment on the original day I wanted. Ridiculous. Please add online booking or even a calendar of availability that patients can see - would be really really helpful.

The entire process was very efficient and within three visits the work was completed and the results are very satisfying. Dr. Allwy and the team were so pleasant and supportive during the process. Jack Williams The lady at reception is really bad, we have tried to book my son for check up she keep saying no available appointment for 2 weeks. They say on Google page they are open everyday but actually they are not. She ask so many personal questions which didnt make sence she is not a dentist only reception to get basic information book my son in. Not recommend at all.
