M B Laser hair removal at great prices. Carmen is great! A fabulous beautiful Nat facial and body laser etc. I Still come here even though I moved to a different neighbourhood and the lasering here is much better service than at the glamourous cosmetic surgery clinic I go to for Botox etc!

I walked in one afternoon, 43 years old, black hair, dyed for 30 years with L’Oréal brown, 8 hrs and two afternoons later, I left blonde, and happily trying something different to grow my Grey hair out more gracefully. I love it. Rosemary is always flexible with times, very reasonably priced and an excellent hairdresser. Highly recommend. Drop in to the salon or give her a call!

Flora Ogilvy I left a really glowingly positive review before but Im so sad to have to rescind that review as unfortunately this time she has really really messed my fringe up. Id been 3 times with nothing but perfect results and I dont know what was wrong with her today but she completely ignored what I asked for and cut my fringe way way too short, and straight across the middle when I specifically said multiple times that I wanted a V shape, even having shown her the exact length and line I wanted it cut along with a comb. Im really so devastated with this because its my birthday tomorrow and I have an audition later and it is unsave-able. I thought Id found a hairdresser Id be with forever but she must have either had the shakes or just not cared at all today because she has really ruined my fringe and she didnt even apologise or offer to take money off or not charge me.

Jessica Flavel Had a very lovely experience at this nail salon for a manicure to pamper myself a bit after the holiday period! The ladies here took so much time with my embarrassingly bad cuticles, and kept going back and fixing them until they were perfect. I popped in to get some shellac nails, but after chatting to my nail technician I decided on getting the iridescent nail colour and I am in love with the results. The ladies are super friendly and lovely to chat with. I’m definitely returning to try all the other iridescent nail colours.

This is two weeks later and following multiple applications of antiseptic and a visit to a nurse practitioner to check infection. Usually I have had a great visit.

Foodie Wanderer Professional and friendly staff. Weve been going here for a couple of years now, we highly recommend Karen for your massage treatment. Book beforehand as they are normally fully booked so dont have availability for walk ins. Karen is knowledgeable and will make sure you get a proper full body massage. We always feel rejuvenated and relax after our treatment. The place is also clean with available street parking close by. If you have private health insurance, Body Retreat is eligible for you to claim back a portion of the cost depending on your extras cover.

Amari Harari - Sleiman I’ve been seeing Karen for remedial massage for years now! Best massage in Melbourne hands down. I’ve tried many other masseuses but no one comes close. I’ve got consistent back pain and always walk away pain free and relaxed! Will be a regular client for many years to come!

Isabelle Rangasamy I had been going to this place for a few IPL session but the last one I had, the therapist put it on a higher setting without letting me know. I got first degree burn and other complications as a result which I got a doctor to certify. When I communicated with the manager about my experience, they did not take responsibility for their actions and even try to reverse the blame on me. They claimed that krill oil supplements which I was taking had made my skin prone to burning. I checked with a medical professional which informed me that this was unheard of. Everyone does mistake but this place did not want to own up to theirs.

Monique is an absolutely angel, very efficient and organized and personable . She even asked me toward the end if she had time would I like her to wax full leg. 45 min for the whole lot and the most efficient relatively pain free experience ever in 15 years of having XXX waving . Thanks girl! PS the salon is very clean , well appointed and excellent facilities / clean spacious bathroom etc .

Olivia Iliov I’ve been a long term client of brazilian butterfly for a while now and have always left happy. I had booked in for a full brazilian and unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances i was running 8minutes late to my appointment, which i did call up to let them know. When showing up i got a cold greeting from the blonde lady who i’ve never been waxed by before. She made no effort to hide the fact that she was irritated, and began waxing me with aggression. i’ve never felt so uncomfortable, brazilians are already a nerve racking appointment to attend but to feel like such a inconvenience to her day didn’t help settle the nerves. The appointment lasted a whole 7 minutes in which she told me she couldn’t do the full wax as there is someone coming at 9 which i entirely understand however there has been many occasions where i’ve had to wait past my appointment time before i was seen, so to be treated as if i had committed the worst crime for being late was not acceptable. I have a nut and peanut allergy which i believe is on my file and have always been asked weather or not it’s okay to apply the after lotion on because of my allergy. I always opt out of getting the lotion applied in case, but in her time of rush and frustration, the lady did not ask me for any outstanding allergies or if i want the lotion applied, she simply just put it on my skin and rushed me out of the room. Thankfully no skin reaction was had but could have been far worse and she wouldn’t have even batted an eye . i left the appointment barely waxed , was charged $54 and had to go spend another 40 elsewhere in order to finish the job she had started. if i had known prior to when she started waxing that not a full brazilian would be done i would not have continued with the session so the fact im $90 down for a single brazilian is not right. Was very disappointed with how rude and unsettling the lady was and have never been waxed so quickly and aggressively in the 2 years i’ve been going to brazilian butterfly. Very disappointed to say the least.

Vas C I normally dont write reviews but felt compelled to after the treatment from this salon. A couple months ago I made an appointment I wasnt able to keep. After trying to call 4-5 times and leaving 2 voice messages, I was unable to get through and had to make an appointment at a different branch. Fast forward to my now appointment - 45mins before the appointment I receive a call telling me if I dont pay my cancellation fee they will cancel the booking. After explaining I tried calling and rescheduling they still didnt seem to care. I have been going to this salon for years and they would rather lose that customer than waive the fee. How disappointing and quite terrible customer service. I didnt receive the same 24hr notification. Instead 45mins before my booking they cancelled. They said they sent an email months ago about the fee (note no call back was recieved) but lets be real if there is an email from them it most likely went to junk as its just advertising. This may not deter anyone from using them but you should know they dont care about their customers.

A Bennett Tread carefully!!! I had a Brazilian wax two weeks ago- was absolutely amazing. Today I had literally the worst lip wax / wax experience of my life. I’ve had my lip (and body) waxed for well over twenty years- and never once felt the need to complain. The woman rushed through so quickly, she applied wax unevenly without care and didn’t even wax the middle of my upper lip - then preceded to tell me the fine hairs wouldn’t come out LOL - get home - “fine hairs” are like 3 mm and black (I’m Italian!). What a joke. Then she applied lotion to my lip and AFTER THAT she started tweezering manically?? Naturally not connecting with any hairs just grabbing my skin which is now rashed and uphappy. It’s like she was so disinterested in what she was doing she couldn’t get me in and out fast enough. Such a shame, as I said the Brazilian I got prior was amazing, but unfortunately not amazing enough to waste my time and money going back again. Avoid.
