Dinesh Chaudhary Jells Park is a fantastic place to unwind—plenty of space for running, walking, and just being in nature. Lots of play areas for kids too, so it’s perfect for families. There’s a café onsite, which is handy for grabbing a coffee, though the coffee itself could be better—but hey, at least there’s an option!

Vincent Wong Family friendly, huge and great park for walking. Coffee house is available for food and drinks. Bbq and picnic tables are available for family gatherings.

Steven Wong Nestled in the heart of Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Jells Park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. With an extensive network of walking and cycling tracks, it’s the perfect destination for those looking to reconnect with nature while staying active. Children will delight in the park’s well-designed adventure playgrounds, offering fun and exploration for all ages. But the crown jewel of Jells Park is undoubtedly its tranquil lake. Arrive at dawn, and you’ll be treated to a breathtaking sight—the sunrise casting its golden glow across the water, creating a serene and almost magical atmosphere. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful morning retreat or an active day out, Jells Park promises an experience worth savoring.

Maria Ngo Beautiful lake with thriving communities of bird life in and around the lake. Such a serene place to sit and absorb the beauty around. There is a walking trail around the lake which takes about 45 minutes to walk around. Cafe and toilets available. Could do with more park benches and tables though. Bring your own camp chairs for more flexibility.

Jacqueline Shiel Lovely well appointed park. Many cabanas for parties but get there early. Kiosk and play areas for kids. Lots of paths for walkers, runners, cyclists and dog walkers and a lake! Public toilets across the park - hurrah. Saturday mornings there is a park run that starts at 8am but max takes an hour for all to complete.

J Challo Well done lions club for providing a great park. Slides, tunnels and rope obstacles to climb and jump well worth a visit to see their hard work in person. Plenty of parking around. It’s over on the southern side of jelly park just west of the cafe. A good lookout point over jells lake.

Rina Chia I visited especially to see The Basement exhibition and was not disappointed. The building and grounds are beautiful and the exhibition itself was excellent. I had a lovely chat with one of the volunteers as well. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Noah Ward For some reason you cant actually write a review on Monash Gallery reserve itself, despite it being marked separately on the map from the art gallery and the public library. So if you were expecting to see interior shots of either of those places, sadly you wont be able to (at least for now) It is small, and yet you are given the illusion of space, with towering gums and a lovely little pond, One cant help but take its majesty and serenity, there are also many artworks and sculptures located throughout the park,

Nanling Liu It’s a lovely museum with a beautiful garden. I enjoyed their exhibition very much as the way they presented those pictures were amazing. The museum was not too big but full of quality photos, the atmosphere was peaceful and I felt like I was in nature, surrounded by the sound of wind and ocean.

Karunia Wahyuni There were sculptures really mesmerizing. Also, when I was visiting the place there was an exhibition about enviromental.
5 /5
Jimmy H Fantastic to visit. Can have a walk outside with the beautiful pond, library, cafe, then go inside the gallery which has wonderful exhibits all year around except when they are changing. Free entry but its nice to donate a gold coin Bit of a hidden secret this place but its one of the best things in this part of Melbourne

Suds Nice park with 2 ovals. You can take your dogs to this park lead free. Great on sunny afternoons where all the neighbours bring out their dogs for socialising. There is also a playground for the kids- small, but ok. Keeps the kids busy while setting up lunch on the BBQ. Bring a cricket bat and practice at the nets, or a footy to kick on the oval.
5 /5
Andrew Karlinskiy Its a very nice place, amazing place to walk your dog. Also has an amazing pitch with lights for clubs to train for soccer, hockey etc.
4 /5
Anita Harris Relatively small park (leash free for those with four-legged friends) with two sporting fields, a tennis club, a couple of pathways (not for serious walkers, but nice to wander through if youre walking around the neighborhood) and a playground.
3 /5
Mark Chatwin A very nice park with a great playground, walks through the trees and a toilet block by the oval.
