5 /5 Suveena Ranzil: Had a great experience here recently when my husband and I purchase jewellery for our anniversary. The salesperson was very helpful and spent time showing us a number of options. It was nice to have a chat with a fellow jewellery enthusiast. Found a beautiful piece and would shop here again.

1 /5 Anj Zuchowicz: Went in to look for an engagement ring for my fiancée. The sales staff member was so incredibly rude when my fiancée was asking the staff member questions about sizing. She said things such as “I’m not going to pull out every ring for you, you need to find one you like!”. We then asked what are the approximate price ranges of the rings (in case the rings were out of our budget since there wasnt any price tags) for the salesperson to then abruptly say "well it depends! I cant tell you the price of every ring as they are all different!" Her attitude put us off so we walked straight out of there as we felt like we did something wrong. We visited 4 other jewellers who were very friendly and helpful and ended up buying a ring from one of those jewellers who answered our questions patiently and had great customer service. I don’t know whether that staff member is having a bad day or just didn’t like us for some reason. We were first time customers needing help with engagement rings. We werent difficult repeat customers or asking her to import gold from Saudi Arabia. Either way there was no need to be so rude!!! Disgusting behaviour. AVOID.

3 /5 Leanne: Your jewellery is undoubtedly beautiful, a huge range and what I think are reasonable prices. I’ve bought several items over the last few years however on my last occasion, was greeted by a clearly grumpy salesperson,. I tried on a couple of items and requested salesperson if they could write down the items on a card as I was short of time and wanted to come back. I was told in a rather cold manner that ‘they’re on the website’. Kindly check your website and you’ll see literally hundreds of rings!! I’ve never in my life had that quite simple request denied. That small effort for your potential customer (not to mention making things easier for a subsequent next salesperson!) was important, yet lacking. I left feeling like an imposition and felt very uncomfortable in your store. Will spend my $15k elsewhere despite seeing items I really liked, as I don’t want to experience feeling like I’m a nuisance in a store that does not deserve (or clearly show) that they want my business.

1 /5 Sienna Scopel: If I could give less stars I would. Partner and I bought an engagement ring about a year ago. The service on the day we bought it was absolutely incredible. The lady who helped us spent 90 minutes or more with us trying different options and combinations. She was fantastic. We chose a ring we loved, bought it the next day and left happy. Thats where the nice part of the story ends. Fast forward a few weeks and I noticed a loose prong. So I took the ring in and they were happy to repair it free of charge. No worries. I pick it up a week later, walk out of the store and realise the prong was never fixed. Could have been an oversight and mistakes happen so I take it back into the shop point it out to the man working and he marks it this time and sends it back to the jeweler for repair again. We went back 6 months later to buy wedding bands. Told them I wanted yellow gold to fit around my centre stone. I was only shown white gold rings in very opposite styles to my engagement ring (lots of details and engraving when my e-ring is more simple) until I asked the man serving me to specifically only show me yellow gold. I found a ring that matched well (at half the price the ones they were pushing were) and got it resized. Taking their advice to go slightly bigger for a more comfortable fit. When it came back the sizing was correct but because the wedding band was designed to sit under my engagement ring it made my engagement ring too small when worn together. I was assured at the time that this was fine but on trying them out at home they couldn’t be worn together because my e-ring was too small to fit over the wedding ring and they pushed each other apart. A few weeks before my wedding I took both rings in to be sized correctly and soldered together. They came back crooked to the naked eye. Im talking close to a millimetre off centre which looked ridiculous and was obviously poorly done. (Only one photo attached because I didnt think to take more but the solder on the inside of the band was asymmetrical and the bands themselves were misaligned as well as the stones being crooked). My partner went in to get a refund for the soldering which they begrudgingly gave and took the botched solder job to another jewelers who repaired it the same day. My advice is dont trust Burlington with your jewelry. They do terrible workmanship and dont seem to care at all about the quality of their work or the advice they provide.

5 /5 Tracey Nelson: I recently purchased a ring online and when my daughter collected it for me, I was very unhappy with how the ring looked on my finger - even though the ring was stunning, I felt it didnt suit me. I contacted Georgia Lockwood, and she immediately swung into action - arranging a credit note and sending me a photo of a ring that better suited me. She ordered the ring, and was able to get it to me before Christmas, even though she had warned me it may only be available at around mid-January. I am absolutely thrilled with my new ring, and want to thank the team at Burlington Antiques, especially Georgia, for an outstanding level of service. I would definitely recommend Burlington and the team if you are ever in the market for a beautiful item of jewellery you can treasure for ever.
