5 /5 Graeme Webb: As a 50-year-old fella who had never done any physical activity, Motion Health was a perfect place to start my fitness journey. I woke up one day with terrible lower back and neck pain resulting in some serious mobility issues. Couldnt put socks on or tie my shoelaces! Met with a Physiotherapist at Motion Health who helped diagnose my condition and gave advice on how to improve the issue. This combined with the Pilates classes they have on offer, got me to a stage where my pain is gone, mobility is back and Im getting stronger every day. The Pilates classes have three people per instructor, which is very comforting if crowds arent your thing. The fitness instructors are really marvelous; knowledgable, kind, gentle and attentive. They guide you through every exercise, theory, and stage of your wellness journey – therapists in their own right. The instructors can tailor the activities to fit each person as theres a single file tracking your history and progress that each instructor refers to. The fact that they are also able to consult with the physiotherapy notes is of huge benefit as well. Classes are available all throughout the day, so its easy to find one that fits within your schedule. The traditional gym scene has never been appealing to me, but the atmosphere at Motion Health is relaxed and friendly. Special shout out the front desk girls who remember everyones name and greets you as you arrive. I wish Id learned this earlier... no matter what your age or level of fitness, its never too late to work toward a stronger body to improve your quality of life. Motion Health gets my thumbs up. Thanks, guys! :-)
