1 /5 Andres Sarmiento: When I first signed up for the gym, I was welcomed by a man who was extremely kind and helpful, which left me with a great first impression. However, today I tried to enter with a friend who wanted to check out the gym to see if he would sign up as well, and we were treated very poorly by a blonde woman at the front desk.
She stopped us at the entrance, and even after I explained that I was already a member and that my friend just wanted to take a quick look, she simply said, “The viewing hours are over, he can’t see anything,” in a very rude and abrupt way. If her shift had ended or the viewing hours were over, that’s understandable, but there are respectful ways to communicate that. Her attitude was unnecessary and unprofessional.
Because of her behavior, you didn’t lose just one potential customer, but two.
