4 /5 hailey: I had an unfortunate and very strange experience here last week on Sunday with one of the staff. I had unknowingly brought my mums tag to tap instead of my own, and as I tapped in the lady at the front desk walked over and very rudely told me that wasn’t my membership. Her attitude and tone was very unnecessary and made me talk with an attitude back, which I shouldn’t have done. Completely justifiable that she was doing her job and telling me what was okay and what wasn’t, I take full responsibility for my mistake, her tone was just extremely condescending. She asked me to step and out and I assumed we were going to have a conversation. However, as soon as I stepped out she walked away back to her desk and didn’t talk to me again. I then got my app to work as it often plays up on me, so I could scan in with my own membership and I assumed everything was fine. However, without informing me of this at all she cancelled or paused my mum’s membership, which I found very strange as she hadn’t done anything wrong, and also very unprofessional as my mum was blindsided at six in the morning that week, not being able to get into the gym. We’ve since emailed our gyms location and my mums membership is back to normal, just thought I would post this here as it seemed very unprofessional of that staff to not inform us they were doing something to my mums membership, if anything I would have expected her to cancel mine.
