"When I was booking the appointment, the lady on the phone already sounded unwelcoming. This shouldve been my first red flag. I walk in for my appointment and the lady was just on her phone and didnt bother to greet me at all. I informed her I had an appointment at 2:30 and she just sends me to the chair.
I let her know I was seeking soft layers with wispy bangs (with photos for support), and noted I wanted to KEEP the length of my hair. She took out my hair tie and very obviously looked at my hair with such disgust, and rudely told me to sit at the basin.
When washing my hair, she was scrubbing so hard I had to physically sit up. Ive been to several salons before and have never felt such aggression! After sitting in the chair, she began cutting my hair without first clarifying how much she was going to cut, despite me previously telling her I wanted to keep the length. She cut over an inch of my hair before adding layers, which then left it even shorter!
Im not a hairdresser but from previous experiences, the stylists have sectioned the hair to create an even cut - this lady went in with little to no sectioning resulting in the ugliest hair cut. From the front, it doesnt look too bad however, from the back, it looks like a child cut it. Afterwards, she blow dried it roughly, only styling the bangs. Majority of my hair was still wet /damp.
I left the salon in tears, not only because of the bad hair cut, but from the experience and treatment from the staff at this salon. I would not them recommend to anyone."
