Menzies Creek Walking Track - Kallista (VIC)

2 /5 AAA: The condition of this track is truly shameful. Its totally overgrown and in desperate need of maintenance and, from what I can gather, its been like this for at least four years. If the track is left open, it should be in a state that allows people to actually walk on it. We had to turn around after a while bush bashing because we just couldnt continue any more. Perhaps we should have taken a "machete"! Whoever is in charge of this, its about time money and staff were allocated to the upkeep of this otherwise beautiful track.

2 /5 Michael: Pretty area with an atrociously maintained track. Its fine if youre comfortable bush bashing but be warned your clothes will get scratched up and youll be covered in leaches.

1 /5 Tom Morris: Track is dangerously overgrown. I started from the south at Kallista-Emerald road, and got about a third of the way north to Emerald-Monbulk road before completely losing the track and giving up.

4 /5 Erika Maccarinelli: Another hidden gem!!!!! Super adventurous dog friendly walk! :) unfortunately the track is in need of some maintenance/good cleanup. Lots of leeches too!!! Still, we definitely enjoyed the adventure!
