5 /5 Vicky Rastelli: Fantastic place to disconnect from the city, enjoy fabulous views, drink tasty wines and eat delicious french cooking. Hostess and water were lovely, the pinot noir was delicious, main dish was Beef Bourguignon and it was fantastic and the Tarte Tatin, on this modern presentation totally surprised me!!! Im coming back for the Casserole.

Now I truly get why the Greeks created Dionysus, the god of wine. And this wine wasn’t from a bottle shop — it came straight from the heart of the winery. Pure magic.

From the moment we arrived at Riverstone Winery Estate, we were blown away by the beauty of the surroundings and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The vineyard itself is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views. The Chardonnay was crisp and elegant, the Shiraz rich and bold, and the Rose—absolutely divine. You can really taste the passion in every glass. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to share the story behind each wine and making the entire experience feel personal and memorable. We also enjoyed a delicious cheese platter that paired beautifully with the wine.

1 /5 Phoebe Blank: I had a Mother’s Day lunch at Riverstone and was so saddened that the change of ownership meant that the pricing skyrocketed and the service / quality deteriorated. We spent $160 in total which included a miserable cheese board that looked like it had very strict requirements, ie 4 grapes, 3 olives, 1 slice of salami… we had two wine tastings which cost $28 each - normally a wine tasting is redeemable on a bottle of wine or at the very least is $5 for the very small amount of wine provided. It ended up being a very expensive 1.0 standard drink of various wines that were not explained at all as the sommelier was a little too interested in the male standing next to me!! We waited an hour before we had a drink (ie the terrible wine tasting mentioned above!). Whilst the waiter was very lovely, I think the process was misunderstood - we had a wine tastings and the idea was the food would be on the table afterwards.. well our tiny bit of cheese sat in the sun outside until we were finished the tasting! It’s such a shame as the views are lovely but we simply will not go back. The old riverstone had beautiful live music that I would have expected on a day like Mother’s Day - there was no background music (even just Spotify!). Feeling pretty sad that what should have been a lovely Mother’s Day was tarnished with a business that was too concerned with price gouging than experience
