Lisa Gaskett Pretty cool volcanic rock formations. A great hike around the back. Would be amazing when flowing.

Bay Of Islands

Pinal (PKP) A near rival to the Twelve Apostles but less busy and easy to get down to the beach! I loved this place and very easy to walk along the path from the car park. There’s informative notices about the area and the stacks are different in many ways - some were large, one was full of plants and one was very jagged.

Nigretta Falls

Sai krishna Naralasetty I recently visited Nigretta Falls, located about 16 km west of Hamilton, Victoria. The falls feature a multi-tiered cascade over ancient rhyolitic rock formations, creating a unique geological landscape. An easy 100-meter walk from the car park leads to a viewing platform, making it accessible for most visitors. However, during my visit, the water flow was minimal due to recent dry conditions. While the rock formations and surrounding scenery are still beautiful, the falls are most impressive after significant rainfall, typically later in the winter season. Please note that as of May 2025, the stairs and viewing platform at Nigretta Falls are undergoing replacement due to damage sustained in the 2022 floods. The Southern Grampians Shire Council has initiated a $615,651 project to upgrade these facilities, with completion expected by early 2025. The new structures will feature modern, lightweight materials to ensure durability and accessibility . Mapcarta +4 sthgrampians.vic.gov.au +4 World of Waterfalls +4 If youre in the Hamilton area, its worth a quick stop, especially if youre already visiting nearby attractions like Wannon Falls. But for those traveling solely to see the waterfall in full flow, I recommend timing your visit after heavy rains to fully appreciate its beauty

Sisters Rocks

Garry Purcell An interesting small rock formation just off the Western Highway, with plenty of room to park on the large gravel surface. The small signpost for the turnoff was missing when I was there recently. The rocks themselves are colourfully painted in graffiti, and its well worth your time to walk around ,and explore some of the smaller spaces between the rocks. Youll find almost every spot painted over, leaving little of the original stone uncovered. Only the very top sections of the larger rocks are free from any paint.

Twelve Apostles

Blaze Pate This place is truly breathtaking! Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the stunning scenery, which ranks among the most beautiful locations I have ever visited. The entire experience was absolutely magnificent. The waves were incredibly beautiful, crashing against the rocks with a mesmerising rhythm. The water was a vivid shade of blue, enhancing the natural beauty of the landscape. I am utterly enchanted by this place and would give anything to return. Every aspect of the visit was fantastic, leaving me with unforgettable memories.

Paradise Falls

Steve Miller Lovely place to visit on a hot day. Not a lot of parking at the top and an easy downhill walk in to the Falls. Only 2 small flows today but very refreshing. Steep walk out but easy enough in thongs. Would love to see in full flood.
