2 /5 Sarah Sun: I visited the Centre for the first time last Mondays and had a positive experience with Dr. Rachel Chan and her assistant, who did a great job. However, there was an issue at the reception when I went to pay. The receptionist, whose name I didnt catch, mistakenly processed my payment under my partners health insurance cover instead of mine.
When I pointed out the error, the receptionist insisted she couldnt rectify it and advised me to contact Medibank myself. I spent over 40 minutes on the phone with Medibank, who informed me that my partner must first provide consent for them to correct the mistake, followed by emailing statements and receipts for a 10-day processing period. This process seems excessive for a mistake that wasn’t my fault.
My partner could lose his benefits, and there could be a potential audit for the provider if Medibank identifies discrepancies.
Despite this administrative issue, I still highly recommend Dr. Rachel Chans services, though I suggest checking her availability at other locations besides this Centre.
