1 /5 Mr jimjimjimmyjim: The dental surgery seemed quite archaic in the resources and tools they used, but the service they provided by Dr Sim, was fantastic, one concern I did have is they gave me some paperwork they required I signed, despite that I was quite disoriented from the drugs they’d given me - so I didn’t really get to read it or understand it very well, other than this everything else seemed fine right up until I had to pay the bill.
I accept that paying $600 for a wisdom tooth to be removed was an amount of money suitable to pay for the surgery I had. But without any warning of the possible cost before hand or without any capacity at all to have some form of payment plan (which violates my consumer rights), they insisted that if I did not pay any money on site they will call the police! And if I didn’t pay the full amount for the service provided they would refer the rest into a debt collector (which is also a breach of my consumer rights)!
I was told, without a settlement agreement personally agreed upon with the owner of the surgery they never do any form of payment plan.
After asking to speak to the owner I was told that I couldn’t because she was in Switzerland! Leaving me baffled as to why the person I spoke to felt compelled to tell me about the owner to start with?!
Anyways, I hope they come to realise changing this part of their practice should be a no-brainer!
