Henryk A very nice park well kept with lots of coloured plants. The great advantage it has are the shops a few minutes away where you can buy food and coffee. It doesnt have any bbqs which was a surprise as most of the people there were families.

Fred Anth Cruz Nice park with shade. Perfect for summer. Very well maintained. Coffee shop is across the road

Jazz Allan A Hidden Gem in the Upper North Shore – Simply Picture-Perfect Wahroonga Park is truly one of Sydney’s best-kept secrets, nestled in the heart of the Upper North Shore. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by an enchanting landscape that feels more like a grand estate than a suburban park. The lush, manicured lawns, vibrant flowerbeds, and majestic trees create a scene so picturesque, it looks like something out of a romantic film or high-end wedding catalogue. It’s no surprise this park is a popular spot for weddings – the natural beauty of the grounds offers a stunning backdrop for photos, ceremonies, and intimate gatherings. Every corner of the park feels thoughtfully maintained, from the tree-lined paths to the charming rotunda and carefully landscaped gardens. Whether you’re planning a picnic with loved ones or simply want a quiet stroll through elegant surrounds, Wahroonga Park delivers a peaceful escape that’s rich in charm and character. Best of all, it’s just a stone’s throw from Wahroonga train station, making it incredibly accessible without losing its serene, tucked-away feel. It’s rare to find a public space that blends convenience with such grandeur. Wahroonga Park is a jewel in Sydney’s north, and once you visit, you’ll understand why it’s such a beloved destination.

CJ CJ Wahroonga Park is a lovely spot, from the sprawling trees to the abundance of benches scattered around, making it easy to relax and take in the peaceful atmosphere. It’s great to see so many people enjoying the park. While I was there, I noticed different groups of people having picnics, families walking together, and even some taking photos. The location is convenient too—right next to the Wahroonga train station and several little shops and restaurants. Having restrooms available is always a win! It’s a simple, charming place that feels like a natural gathering spot for the neighborhood.

Amy Davidson It is such a beautiful park to relax with friends or family under the shade of the big trees. Ive been lucky enough to only live a 5 min walk away and enjoy taking local eats from the awesome Wahroonga cafes over to the park for a nice scenic picnic. Many people have kids parties and family meetings ups here. Its lovely to see, particularly now we are coming out of lockdown! The rose garden in the centre of everything is stunning, and theres also play equipment for kids at one end of the park as well as a pavilion at the other end. The public bathrooms are not the best, but what park bathrooms are really? Its been an improvement seeing more bins around the park in recent weeks, as the trash overflow when the park is super busy was getting to be an issue.

Elaine Mawbey Anyone who loves Moderist architecture should come and see this seminal work of Harry Seidler, the architect who introduced the style to Australia with great acclaim and success. A fascinating video provided context; the architects life was interesting to say the least and I look forward to learning more. Also beautifully maintained and the volunteers were so nice and enthusiastic to answer questions. Thank you so much!

T- Lam For anyone interested in mid-century architecture this is a nice opportunity to explore the brilliance of Harry Seidler. Very well preserved and curated which made for an enjoyable visit. Nice drive through the neighbourhood to get there and a worthwhile activity that doesn’t take more than 30-40minutes. Shame we don’t see more of these homes preserved.

Brian C Golden Jubilee Park in Wahroonga is honestly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I’ve been to in a while. From the moment you arrive, there’s this calm, welcoming feeling that surrounds you. The park is surrounded by lush bushland, and it feels like youre stepping right into nature—even though you’re still not far from the city. The bush and creek walks are a real highlight. The paths are well-kept and easy to follow, and there’s something really calming about hearing the sounds of birds and running water as you walk. It’s the kind of place where you can take a slow stroll and really just breathe and enjoy the moment. One of my favorite parts was how the light filters through the trees—especially in the late afternoon. Everything seems to glow, and it’s honestly just a lovely spot to clear your mind or take a break from a busy day. Along the walk, you’ll find little bridges and quiet spots by the creek that are perfect for just sitting and soaking it all in. And then there’s the skatepark, which is actually way cooler than I expected. It’s super clean, well-designed, and has this amazing view overlooking the surrounding greenery. Even if you’re not into skating, it’s a great place to sit and watch others ride while enjoying the scenery. There are benches and open grassy areas nearby too, so its great for families, friends, or anyone just wanting to spend time outdoors. I’d genuinely recommend this park to everyone—whether youre into walking, skating, photography, or just relaxing. Its got this quiet magic to it that makes you want to come back. Definitely one of those local gems that deserves way more attention.

Gee Cute little area for toddlers.on bikes/scooters. Big netting a long slide for bigger kids. And a swing. Not extravagant by any means, but a nice chill playground. Come with the kids to dog watch. Lots of people walking their dogs past the playground (a safe distance).
5 /5
Behnam Forghani recently they have put big pieces of stone blocks around the roads, sidewalks, carparks, etc which are so soleless, harsh, ugly and not harmonized with its beatiful nature, previously there were wood fence instead of those ugly stones

Gajanan Bochare Beautiful baseball ground with awsome bush views and great facilities good parking available

Leah Roberts This is a lovely little park aimed at children 4+. There is a very steep slippery dip, climbing frame, 2 swings, see saw and little town village. The little town is unique and really encourages imaginative play. There is a doctors office, petrol station, shop etc. The whole park is surrounded by a small bike track and next to an oval. There is not much to do for those under 4. It is fairly exposed to the wind and sun so on very windy days it can be cold and on hot days... Well its hot. The bathrooms are a bit of a walk and have not been clean any time Ive needed them.

J Mak Awesome MTB track for young and old.

Shane Grant Cool little track to have a play on. Pump track needs some work and the skills park was I feel a bit weird to understand wich way to follow around. The trail its self needed some maintenance the berms had bad water channels where it had been washed away it could have better flow also. Kids loves it though and agter the wind down of the trail it was just a short pedal back to the top.
5 /5
Darayat great Skill area and alright single track but is quite limited. The Park isnt very large, and although you can do laps on laps of the single track and skill area and pump track, it can get boring after a while.

Li Fei My family doesn’t play bike. But here is definitely a good place to see sun rise and sunset. Beautiful place. Three directions for tracking. Each direction about 30 minutes to 1 hour walk.

Greg Leadbeatter Went there for Friday afternoon touch footy. To my delight the rugby club had the bar open. Got to watch the kids play and have a beer at the bar
4 /5
Michela Zanata Lovely sports oval, and very good club rugby facilities. Beautiful surrounds in a lovely suburb.
5 /5
Leonard Patchett Pretty crummy playing surface. Rabbit holes on field The locals regularly walk their dogs here off leash, even when there are organised games in progress, causing play to be stopped Parking can be an issue There is a bush walking trail that starts here - not too sure where it goes but seems popular with teenagers and dog walkers. The rugby club operates a bar and canteen - seems a little expensive compared to other local clubs
3 /5
Rod Acquasanta Not bad, could do with more parking as on rugby weekends it does get quite full very quickly and youll be parking on street somewhere. As of the fields themselves personally I thought they were in good condition, no holes and ankle twisting ruts to be found.

mel mel Went for rugby union and not much parking at this area. But, beautiful scenes

Ansh Mali Tennis courts are great facility with lighting. The ovals drainage isnt great and gets muddy easily. Cricket nets are covered in dirt and arent maintained well. But otherwise a great place.
4 /5
Srima McQuillan Beautiful reserve. The midi soccer field has some shaded areas. There is also one large regular size soccer field as well. There is a restroom at the end of the soccer fields. You park at the top and walk down through the trees. Benches to watch and relax.
5 /5
De J Huge ground to play soccer. Theres at least two fields there. Although the ground is slightly uneven, it doesnt fail to provide an enjoyable experience. One of the soccer fields has normal sized goals while the other one has small goals suitable for younger teams. Also has separate toilets.

8.Archdale Park

Address: 5 Neringah Ave S, Wahroonga NSW 2076

(3) Reviews Archdale Park:

Sean Nairn Quiet and secluded park just behind the Wahroonga shops. Gets lots of sun in winter so a nice place to sit on a sunny day. Probably best avoided around school starting and finishing times as it’s used as a thoroughfare from Abbotsleigh school to the station. Other than that grab a coffee from a cafe and enjoy the serenity.
