Inspire Fitness and Exercise Physiology - NSW

Karen Morris This is a great gym!! The trainers are experienced professionals and deal with real people (ie not gym junkies) in an amazing way. The community they build by their friendliness and warmth is what keeps me coming back. 9+ years of coming regularly says it all.

Pilate Hard - NSW

Donna Kennett This studio is one of the best. The instructors are all different but all fantastic. After moving home from overseas I tried so many studios that seemed impersonal, didn’t focus enough on form or rushed through the class but Pilates Hard delivered everything I was looking for. I’ve now been a regular for a few years and couldn’t imagine ever going anywhere else!

Rec Xpress 24/7 Fitness Ormond - NSW

Andy Ruddock I have been a member of RecXpress Ormond for about 8 years. Its a friendly, clean, well-equipped space where you can do everything that you need to do, fitness wise. Curtis, the centre manager, is always there with a friendly welcome, and advice if you need it. Hes also a knowledgeable pt; Ive used his services, and recommend getting a programme from him. Well worth the money. When I say the gym is clean, I really mean it. Ive used most of the gyms in the chain, and they are all spotless. The fact that you can use several centres with your membership is an added, bonus. I find it very handy when it comes to fitting in workouts around work scheduling. I would certainly recommend Rec Xpress. People who are new to exercise can feel comfortable using these facilties.

Jubilee Park Outdoor Gym - NSW

Wong Mark Been a few years since last review. Nothing has changed. Reserve is poorly maintained, and always looks messy. This is as good as it gets on this side of Maroondah. The two stars is for equipment, and zero star for maintenance of the reserve. The only toilets available to the public is at Jubilee Oval No. 2. These toilets are wosre than public toilets in well known junkie suburbs around Melbourne or small rural towns. The toilets at Russell Lucas are not open to public (probably only during events only - too bad if you are a rate payer and your not into football or cricket). Other councils (such as Boorandara & Manningham) provide much better for their rate payers. Too much money spent on club sporting facilities (in Maroondah) and nothing for the general public who are not into ball sports. Recently travelled up north and experienced outdoor gyms in NSW & QLD (even in small towns). They have bigger and better, and their public spaces are much better maintained.
