Over time, I outgrew it, but it remained incredibly meaningful to me, and I knew I wanted to have it reworked into a new, wearable piece that I could continue to wear every day. After searching extensively for a jeweller who could take on this special project, I found Mehdi at Gem Empire — and I couldn’t be more grateful. Unlike most jewellers who outsource their casting and manufacturing, Mehdi does all his work in-house, which meant he was one of the very few who could actually melt down and reuse my original gold in the new piece. He carefully designed the new chain and cross digitally and made sure I was completely happy with it before proceeding. He even created a detailed wax model so I could visualise it before it was made in gold. His attention to detail is truly unmatched. Mehdi was incredibly patient, professional, and thorough throughout the entire process, making sure every element was exactly as I envisioned. His craftsmanship, dedication, and fair pricing genuinely set him apart — he’s one of the best jewellers I’ve ever come across. It’s rare to find someone so genuine and passionate in this industry, and it was refreshing to experience that with Mehdi. I will never go anywhere else for jewellery. I wholeheartedly recommend Gem Empire to anyone looking for quality, integrity, and exceptional service. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would.
