Village Pilates - NSW

A P This is by far the best studio with the highest trained instructors of all the pilates studios Ive tried in both Oz and the USA (and Ive trained in pilates from different course providers so I have an idea on what to look for in quality - but I am not an instructor, just loved learning). They are also incredibly lovely people and enjoy what they do - so the environment is welcoming and friendly. At other studios, I often get to the point where I feel Im stronger than what the instructor is ready to accomodate in the group class. At Village Pilates, they are challenging classes (still allowing for all abilities and levels) but I know Im being pushed to go deeper and gain strength, balance and agility - if Im in the mood for it. Also, Im 5mo. pregnant and they are SO welcoming to me to continue to be in their classes (Reformer, Mat and Barre classes as well as their smaller group classes). They work with me to adjust with moves that are not easy or good to do while pregs. Shout out especially to Lisa, Emily and Hannah!! I am so thankful for this studio to be accepting of me throughout this pregnancy - as Im feeling stronger and more confident with each day closer to birth. I was nervous I would be a burden with needing too many adjustments but they make me feel at ease and confident in the class to do what I can and be part of the group. Thank you team - youre legends!!

S&T STEPS - NSW

Heather Hart I’ve been going to S&T Steps for 2 months now and am absolutely loving it. Personal training with Stacy and Tim has been so enjoyable and exactly what I needed as I have no clue about the right technique and wanted to build strength and muscle without injuring myself! The support and encouragement I receive at every session is so appreciated, I highly recommend S&T Steps to anyone seeking a supportive, fun, family friendly gym!!

Upstate Elsternwick - NSW

Jayne Wise Loving UPstate! Classes are brilliant all the instructors I’ve had have been excellent. Twiggy’s class was one of my faves. She was so clear in her instruction, offering challenges and modifications so everyone could access the work at their own level. She made little individual corrections to maximise effort and offered words of encouragement and positive affirmations to those who were nailing it! It was a great class and I felt the burn…. In the best way! In every class, I always walk out feeling better than when I walked in.

Strong Squad Fitness - NSW

Bel J Joining Colleen at Strong Squad fitness 18 months ago has been the best decision I have ever made! For someone who has never enjoyed exercise, I love the bootcamp classes, there are a variety of times throughout the week that you can choose from. She has created the most amazing community, when we all work out together it’s fun, there is laughter and everyone is so supportive. Colleen is an incredible trainer, each class she mixes it up, no classes are the same. It doesn’t matter your fitness level. She adapts the program for all abilities or if you are carrying an injury. She also runs private Personal Training sessions. Colleen has given me new self confidence and my body feels great! Love Colleen and everyone who is part of the Strong Squad workout crew!
