1 /5 Steve Pagratis: I was a regular customer and had always been happy with their services, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I brought in my Rolex because it was running fast and was told their watchmaker could absolutely fix it. They insisted on cash payment, but after multiple attempts over several months, the watch was still running fast.
Each time, I was told it was "perfect" because the watchmaker had worn it for a week. When I explained it gained time when I wore it, I was told this was because I took the watch off at night and that Rolex could confirm this. I did call Rolex, and they confirmed this claim was completely false.
To prove the issue, we even sealed the watch overnight for a test—it was 10 seconds out by the next morning. Despite this, they refused to provide a refund and told me I would now have to send it to Rolex and obtain a letter from them.
I am extremely disappointed in the way this was handled, the false claims made, and the refusal to stand behind their work. I would not recommend trusting them even if you have had previous work done there. If there is any problem they will just turn on you.
