GemmaZaraCarr Lynn at La-Q Brow Bar is quite simply a brow wizard! It had been months since I’d had my brows done as I’d decide to try to “grow them out” I walked in to Lynn’s space with the most unkept brows ever (lucky for me I’m fair so it doesn’t show much) After the tint and laminate I could not believe.. 1) how much brow I had, and 2) the AMAZING shape, shade and lift that was achieved. My brows matched my hair colour seamlessly! Would highly recommend La-Q if you’re in need of a little brow TLC, or a transformation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Becky Bryce PG did my makeup for my wedding as well as my mum and sisters. We were so glad we booked with her! She did an amazing job and really listened/ got to know the kind of look we wanted. She was fun but also really professional and took all the stress out of getting ready and we had a lovely time. Our make up lasted all day, despite a fair few tears and we didnt even touch it up! Judy Villaflor We had a glamtorial done as a hens party, and it was amazing. PG was great, so was the rest of the staff, they were all amazing, Julie, Natalie, Ella and Christine. There was no dull moment considering the session ran for about 4 hours. And the techniques PG taught were life changing, this is coming from someone who, honestly, puts on make make-up as how I see it on social media. Food was also fantastic, they arranged this grazing box for us from a shop called the Candy box (I am working from memory here, please call me out if this is the wrong name, I am so bad with names). Great great idea for a hens.

Amanda I recently attended a makeup course at Iridis. Initially I was a bit worried as it was a basic course and I was already reasonably happy with the basics I had been doing. I thought maybe it might be too basic, however, I went in with an open mind and was glad I did. I learnt so many extra skills, important details I didnt know, and definitely levelled up with makeup, especially skin prep/care, contouring/highlighting, and eye makeup. I love makeup so much and have always wanted to do courses so it was an absolutely fantastic day for me. Even the part where I had to go there with no makeup on went well and got me out of my comfort zone. Peta-Gai and her staff are wonderful, welcoming, and there is absolutely no judgement from anyone.

Ashleigh Close Came in here one day to get 3 of my SNS nails that I got done elsewhere. They had come off or had cracked and were broken. The lady pointed out how thin the SNS was on my nails and explained why they had broken only after a few days. She was so lovely, friendly, professional and helpful. I ended up coming back the next day to get the remainder of my nails done that hadnt been done the day before. Absolutely 10/10 highly recommend!!!!!!

They are happy, friendly and my nails always look amazing. I get SNS and the last for ages. Other nail salons I have gone to previously would always crack or come off after a few months… At H New Nails in Newport they last for up to 5-6 weeks. I’m so happy with the result every single time.

Siang Min Soon The owner, Craig refused to provide refund on the basis that I was rude to his staff and called my husbands review a lie is just absurd. Your staff clearly twisted the whole truth of the story and you called us a liar ? Despite her saying that "Im not sure how long is the wait, could be half and hour or one hour", I still said I would come since Im already on my way ( this is 15 mins before the appointment). She called me back after 3 minutes stating that she has spoken to the boss and cancelled my appointment because she doesnt like the way I talk to her and I was rude. Thats the truth. I have decided to take the matter to Consumer Affair as we dont deserve this kind of treatment.

Anna Tao Please be careful before making an appointment here ! I had purchased a Groupon voucher with them and despite explaining my circumstances that my partner had tested positive for COVID the night prior to my appointment, they simply brushed me off and told me to refer to their policy which states that COVID is no longer an unprecedented event and that I should had known that my partner would had tested positive 72 hours prior ! I was forced to forfeit my appointment and they have ceased contact with me. Their lack of compassion and their unwillingness to compromise is appalling. I would highly advise anyone to please reconsider before coming here to save themselves the disappointment and frustration that I had to go through.
