He replaced the broken tooth with a generic one that he had in his surgery. The match was perfect and my problem was solved with the minimum of fuss. I am still quite amazed at his dentistry skills. Eleni Pantelidis After my very first visit to Studio Smiles, I walked away feeling confident that my teeth were well taken care of. Dr Jo is lovely, and very gentle, and talked me through every stage of the appointment. I found that she paid so much attention to detail when cleaning my teeth, and I truly haven’t had a better experience at a dentist. Thank you, Dr Jo! And Lauren at reception is also so lovely and didn’t seem to mind that I had quite a few questions :)

Stuart Denness To my shame I had not been to the dentist for many years, yes I know that’s terrible!! I actually had my hand forced as the appt was made for me. Now it’s not that I’m not scared of drills or needles or dentists at all. I just haven’t gone. My experience from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. Welcomed into the business a lovely receptionist who helped me through the formalities of the new patient forms. My appt was at 11-30 and was ushered in with time to spare. Jo was the dentist looking after me. Explained everything that was going to happen. After the x-rays, photos and more x-rays we spoke for 20 mins about my teeth, gums etc. I was then plugged into Netflix as Jo got to work on the polish and general clean up after a decade of zero dentist love of my teeth. Suffice to say I am blessed with strong teeth and gums and was pronounced fit and ready to go after 30 mins of attention. That said I have a 6 month follow up booked and promised to floss before my next appt. All in all I was extremely pleased with everything Jo and the team did today. My god dentistry has moved along way since I last had a visit. I left feeling my teeth had a solid and detailed MOT and will definitely be back. Thanks again

Haydon Walls I felt ripped off after booking an appointment advertised at $199 then being charged $350 for a poorly done teeth clean. I can see they havent done the job properly and they only took around five minutes to complete. I will never return to this business. What a Sham!

Steve Edwards I’ve always heard great things about Primary Dental, but my recent experience at this location in Highett was disappointing. The receptionist, Mahawish (I think that’s her name), was incredibly rude. There was no greeting or acknowledgment when we walked in, and when our appointment was delayed, she didn’t bother to update us or apologize. It’s concerning to see this level of service from a reputable dental chain. A few months ago, I visited with my sister, and she was actually yelling at one of the staff members, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Sadly, last week, during another visit with my sister, we experienced the same unprofessional attitude toward patients. This is not the level of service we expect, especially from a well-established chain like Primary Dental. I hope the management addresses this issue, as it’s definitely affecting the clinic’s reputation.

Caza Luffers Would rate less if I could. Booked as a Bupa 1st service as we pay a premium for insurance….had to pay full price here - why? - this practice didn’t register their dentist as a BUPA provider until the day AFTER our service. Then took me MANY MANY calls, emails and follow-ups to get the money back…such a slog of effort for their mistake! No apologies from them, absolute terrible service on their behalf. One of the worst experiences I have had ever in Australia.

Mel Kale We have been using James as our family dentist for over 20 years. Outstanding practitioner with great hands. Most of all I have appreciated his honesty with respect to what needs doing. On the 2 occasions family members have required further expertise his referrals have been spot on. It can be difficult to book in, purely because he is so popular.
