Dean Marando I have been a patient of Dr Andrew Hawkins at “Bentleigh Dental on McKinnon” for almost 20 years. Even though I no longer live in the area, I am willing to travel there as I am very satisfied with the work. Recently my two year old daughter chipped her front tooth and was scheduled an appointment on short notice by the friendly reception staff. I was a bit apprehensive on how my daughter would go with the dental work at such a young age. However, Andrew explained to my daughter in terms she could understand to make her feel comfortable and made it an enjoyable experience for her. The front tooth now looks great and I highly recommend this practice.

Semih Cemiloglu Due to ongoing sensitivity issues, it was discovered that I have calcified root canals in tooth #46 (mandibular first molar). This type of issue is typically very challenging within the spectrum of endodontic ailments. My specific case proved to be one of the most difficult root canal treatments encountered. I was initially advised that there was little chance of saving the tooth. However, Dr. Felman, with meticulous care and over multiple sessions spanning several weeks, treated the canals in a relatively pain-free manner within a professionally designed healthcare setting. I am writing this review after several months following the completion of treatment, allowing me to assess the long-term outcome. By successfully treating and saving the tooth, Dr. Felman prevented me from requiring more invasive and costly treatment options, such as extraction and an implant. I believe Dr. Felman is a world-class specialist and highly recommend seeking his expertise if you have any endodontic concerns.

The team are exceptionally warm and welcoming, and provide unrivalled expertise in their field. Highly recommend if you need periodontic treatment, and definitely worth the wait.

B Ng Adam Ross charged me $60 after asking my child to come for a review (xrays sent a prior as instructed), only be told that my child is not ready yet for braces because all milk teeth have not fallen out yet. The consultation was late and very rushed.

In particular, I highly recommend Dr Margaret Wang ... has a fantastic way to talk to both parents and kids; not dismissive, and not intrusive. Great work. Also appreciated the direct (relatable) opinions provided - and in particular the willingness to not try to on-sell additional services. Hoping our impressions last - but at the moment, were very happy to have passed on another (local) orthodonist who clearly didnt care about our sons treatment at all. Good service - well organised - and definitely felt more professional than the other we dropped. My advice - shop around - and find the people that fit / resonate the best for you. Its a big investment in terms of both money, time, and trust. EDIT - my son has finished his braces (and now onto retainers). My opinion stands, this is well worth it, and the service is great quality (my sons teeth are fantastic).

Evelin Dimitrova I was very disappointed with my appointment with Dr. Wise today. I went there for a clean as I have bleeding gums and felt that I wasn’t being treated the way I expected. I have previously seen a different specialist at this practice and she spend an hour deep cleaning my teeth using a special machine. Dr. Wise decided to clean by hand and only took 25 minutes or so. When I asked her why she wouldn’t use a machine she said because she went to a different university to other specialists. I don’t think I will be coming back to this practice again as I don’t believe the service I received was satisfactory.
