Maria is lovely and very knowledgeable and eases your concerns. They also offer spa treatments and pedicures at this place which I might try. Highly recommend this place if you’re needing a podiatrist

I didnt feel weird or out of place, even when asking what must be dumb questions about what to do with my hair, the banter is great and the prices are exceptional for the level of service and facilities and they offer complimentary fringe trims within 6 weeks. And Jaspers a legend, so thanks for that. Definitely a comfy space for the girls, gays, theys and anyone really. Cheers Also, their hair care products are actually lifechanging. Baby Grigg Unhappy with Happy Nails! Due to lack of hygiene and clean practices I now have infection after my pedicure. Attended on 22nd March 2025 for a shellac pedicure and treatment was fine… it’s the after care that has been the most frustrating. With numerous cuts on my feet that are now infected. It’s very painful.

Sophie L I got SNS on my natural nails, the SNS is a bit too thick compared to other nail salon, it might be because they dipped each finger into the powder around 6-7 times, otherwise the shop was really clean and service was really fast!

Callum Hilton Recently a purchased a voucher at this nail salon. Notified that even a voucher is charged with a weekend surcharge. Total process in writing the voucher and typing it in the eftpos machine took roughly 30seconds. Note to everyone do not purchase a voucher here during the weekend or you will be hit with a 10% surcharge.

珍珠海米煨鹌鹑 Heidi is super fast and good at the same time! I walked in with no booking and asked if I could have extensions and color, she done it well in one hour. The finish is really nice and the price is much better than what I have in Sydney!

Kayla Symons $60 nails: No nail prep before applying tips, nails not measured to make sure they match on the left and right hands and are different sizes and lengths, bumpy finish from sloppy sns application. I had them done on Thursday and three nails have already fallen off and it’s only Saturday!! Go elsewhere, this place has no idea what they’re doing!

Sales Team My only spot for waxing and nails in South Yarra. Always friendly and welcoming customer service. Last minute. Walking are always welcome. The ladies do one of the best waxing , very professional - really know how to do in least painful way while being quick and neat (esp bikini ). Highly recommend

Maria This is my go-to salon for all things beauty. They are so friendly, do such a high-quality job and hardly ever a wait time. Even when I moved out of the area, I still kept coming back to this salon. Love this place!

Rose West It was quiet and they said I’d be soon. After 30 minutes, they did someone that had come after me first (we were getting the exact same nails done). Extremely unprofessional. They also were telling each other off about how to do the nails, as if they didn’t know what to do. Bad service. Wouldn’t recommend

Karen Turner - Author Dreadful!! I wont be going back. I made an appointment so I could be in and out on time ... that was the first problem. I arrived on time, they sat me down and continued working with other customers, completely ignoring me. 20 mins later, they sent some assistant girl over to remove the gel I already had on my nails. She kept coughing and leaving me to go to the back room through out the whole time. I asked if she was ok. She just nodded. Then when she finally got herself under control, she filed my nails into an oval shape - why I dont know, couldnt she see I already had a nice growth in a square shape? I told her oval. She didnt understand English. When the proper technician came to take over, she filed my nails again - oval!! I told her they are supposed to be square. She filed them square - no more growth. My nails are now short and stumpy. Overall, the girls are not friendly - I felt like I was imposing on them - their uniforms are grubby, the store is grotty, and the service is crap. Never, never, never again!!! End result, while the nail polish is neat and nice looking, my nails are short and horrible, and I felt dirty and worried about the cleanliness of the tools they were using ... besides that, after all the waiting, swapping of technicians, files and refiles, the entire visit took longer than it should have. Bad experience, bad service. My advice - dont go to this place. There are plenty of others to choose from!

Kate Sleath Terrible, I wont be going back. The girl didnt speak to me the whole time, only speaking to her friends. She dug her false nails into me while doing my shellac and also got shellac on my skin several times. It was not an enjoyable experience for $40. I also had nearly a full card of stamps but they wouldnt stamp it as they claim to have a new owner with a new company called Coco Nails (despite having Tips and Toes posters up inside). Avoid if possible.

Prue Miller Worst experince I’ve ever had in a nail salon. None of the equipment is sterilised. The pedicure was rushed and I was cut multiple times. The acetone was left on my toes for an hour which started to burn. Quality was poor just in attempt to get as many people through the door. The technician continued to put the equipment on the floor which I also pointed out was unhygienic. I was so angry I put my shoes on and walked out. I explained my deep dispointment for a horrendous experince and all I got back was negotiation of payment. Absolutely terrible. There are many nail salons in the area I would recommend avoiding this one.

Marisa Harris Do NOT get your eyelashes done here! We were visiting Melbourne from the UK for a friends wedding and I thought it would be nice to have temporary eyelash extensions so they looked good for the photos. After waiting some time in the back room, the girl/lady came in to begin. I had had extensions done once before so I semi knew the uncomfortable parts of the process etc such as when they tuck the tissue/cloth/material (?) under your lid to ensure that none of the glue gets into your eye. This part wasnt too bad however she obviously had not done it properly as during the treatment I could feel the liquid seeping into my eyes at points. Obviously concerned, I asked the girl whether everything was alright and told her my eyes were a little sore. She reassured me and said it was all fine. Following this, it seemed to get better so I guess she became more careful? Anyhow, the procedure seemed to go on for quite some time and she kept shouting back to her colleagues in the main salon throughout. Im really not the sort of person who cares about this sort of thing usually, however its not the most comfortable situation when the person shouting is literally above your head and over your face. All in all, the experience wasnt very comfortable and the lashes lasted two - three days. She hadnt secured the glue from the extension to the eyelashes well at all and I was left with large clumps of hard stuff which just irritated me and a lot of my lashes were damaged after the extensions fell off. Also, just to mention, I had my gel powder manicure done prior to the lashes and the girl assured me the powder she was using was not acrylic. Although the label on the powder pot read acrylic. Basically, I would advise you avoid this place. Especially as there are so many other places which Im sure must be better in South Yarra.

Deirdre ORiordan Really disappointed with my nails! Toenails smugged as I went to get finger nails done (could potentially have been my fault but still) and I asked her to fix it... she put a tiny bit of nail varnish on the nail but didnt even bother wiping away the varnish on my skin....it would have taken about 2 seconds! For $70 for a shellac mani and pedicure I expect more! Far better places around Toorak road to go to!

Rhian Godwin So poor! I wish I could do a zero star. Wished I had of gone to my usual place (Happy Nails) but went for the easiest option next to the place I had grabbed a spray tan. Abismal choice of Shellac choices bizarrely taped on to a board - so you cant really see them against your skin tone. Manicure was rough - the lady was rude and handling my nails incredibly poorly. Jamming my hands impatiently into the UV lights and twisting my fingers to paint although that clearly didnt help, the edges are all crooked and theres shellac over my cuticles. The must alter their products as 6 layers later (I had a nude pink) and Im left with bumpy, thick, patchy uneven nails which at $40 are the most expensive and worst Ive ever had. Do yourself a favour and go to Happy Nail nearby or even elsewhere on Chapel.
