1 /5 Zahra Karami: was genuinely looking forward to incorporating yoga into my weekly routine, but unfortunately, my experience at this studio was disappointing.
From the outset, I didn’t feel very welcomed. On one occasion, I arrived just two minutes early on a freezing morning, hoping to wait quietly at the entrance. However, I was asked, rather abruptly to wait outside, which felt unnecessarily unkind given the weather and the short wait time.
Inside the studio, I found it difficult to settle into a calm state before and after sessions. The instructors often spoke quite loudly with each other between classes, which disrupted the peaceful environment I was seeking. A quiet, mindful space is such an important part of the yoga experience, and sadly this was often missing.
Booking classes was another challenge. While I had three weeks’ worth of credit, I was only able to attend three sessions due to limited availability. It would be great if more flexibility or options could be offered in the future.
I believe the studio has potential, and I hope they take on board feedback to create a more welcoming, calm, and accessible experience for all.
