1 /5 Linda-Jane Knowles: Have made the mistake of taking my watch in twice to have link removed and put back in. Each time they dont put the pin back in correctly and now the band has fallen off completely. Hopeless. Oh and the service is rude. Barbara is curt and snobby. To your reply. My watch was a brand new Dolce & Gabana watch with a silver band. A simple pin was all that was needed to keep the band in place after taking out links to resize the band. You don’t need to be a magician just an adequate jeweller. I don’t see how you could remember me because I’ve never met you. I brought another Dolce & Gabana watch in at the same time you broke after a simple battery replacement I had to have repaired. It had D&G written into clip band. You’re response is in line with ur service. Terrible. And when you break something at least be honest.

5 /5 Nicole Mckenzie: So happy! I was assured my Mums gold, rhodium and diamond ring, and a silver ring with diamonds my Dad bought me would look great joined together. They were resized, joined and cleaned. They have sentimental value so I was a little nervous of the result, and I was thrilled. The photo does not do it justice. Thank you making 2 different rings into one beautiful one.

1 /5 SPat_83 LG: So disappointed by the practices I encountered at your Coburg Jewellery Store on May 9th 24. The owners conduct was nothing short of deceitful, and I refuse to stay silent. I asked for a quote for a battery replacement for my Longines watch and to repair my husbands gold chain. The owner quoted me $30 for the battery and $85 to fix 2 links on his chain telling me gold costs and arm and leg. I said ok. The owner took my watch in the back to work on it (20mins) then told me my watch needed a seal and a new gasket and was going to be very $$$$. He asked where battery was replaced before. I said 2 years prior I went to another watchmaker who changed the battery in front of me I watched him through a glass and he said my watch was in great condition & that he could tell I really looked after it. I said it was impossible my watch was missing a seal and gasket when I’ve been wearing it for the last 2 years, no issues whatsoever! He gave me one of those looks that I know was suss. He then attempted to write a $200 invoice to fix the chain and battery – I said, where did $200 come from? He said $30 battery and $170 for chain. I said, you said $85 to fix the chain. I said sorry, no, I will look elsewhere. I paid for the watch battery and went a few doors up the road for my husbands chain. Quote was $60 to fix BOTH ends! Perfectly fixed in less than 12 hours. Just three days later, my watch began to experience condensation, a clear indication that the owner had tampered with the seal (or taken it) during the battery replacement. I knew he was up to something! A deliberate sabotage of my property so he could profit making money off me on my well looked after longines watch! I contacted the store to express my outrage, to one of the employees of what he has done to my watch. I told her I will never set foot in your establishment again. I now have to go to Watches of Switzerland to see what he has pinched out of my watch! Steer clear of Coburg jewellers unless you want to be taken advantage of. Do not trust them with your valuables.

1 /5 Ana Paula Bil: What a nasty surprise! Last year, to be more precise on 21 December, I took two Michael Kors watches to have the batteries replaced for the very first time at Coburg Jewellers. I was serviced by a young blonde lady in her twenties who asked me to come back within 30 to 45 minutes. When I came back, she quickly placed one of the watches in the velvet bag I keep them individually. Then, I was informed that they were not able to unscrew the other one as they were too scared of leaving a scratch which sounded weird. When I got home, I noticed a scratch on the back of my Michael Kors watch which they managed to replace the battery! It was end of the year and we were off on holidays on the following day... Today I took the other watch they hadn’t replaced the battery to a watchmaker who told me that Coburg Jewellers in fact had damaged not only one, but the FOUR screws on the back of my watch! Shame on you Coburg Jewellers! Be aware that this review will be published on Facebook, Google, True Local and wherever else possible.

1 /5 Claire: Went in to get a quote for resizing my new engagement ring, only to be told it was made of metal & mossanite, not gold and diamond. Have since got my ring professionally valued and it is 18ct gold & diamond. No idea what the jeweller here was looking at but thanks for causing me a very stressful and upsetting day.
