2 /5 Shruti Vora: For the a big brand like Michael Hill I am surprised by their processes/ customer service.
I went to buy a tennis bracelet from them, which was a bit loose. Since I was travelling overseas straight away, they advised to take on a “care plan” which comes out cheaper than the resizing cost. So I bought that and the bracelet.
After coming back from my trip I went to my nearest MH store only to find out:
1. care plan doesn’t include resizing which was the whole point of buying the plan. No refund can be provided for the care plan.
2. I had to go to the MH DFO if I wanted to do anything about it.
3. After a lot of hassle, MH DFO agreed to do the resizing for free, and told me it takes 2 weeks. It will be a month next week that my bracelet is still with them.
Honestly what a waste of time, not did I loose interest in wearing that piece of jewellery but the store entirely.
