1 /5 Natalie N: I recently visited this clinic for an appointment scheduled at 2:30 PM. I arrived at 2:20 PM and was asked to take a seat. By 3:00 PM, I still had not been seen, so I inquired about the delay. The receptionist responded, "Oh, I didn’t realize you were still sitting there and that (name of physio) was so far behind. If I had known, I would have put you with another physio."
Another gentleman who came in after me to see the same physiotherapist also seemed unsure about his appointment status. When I asked how much longer I would have to wait, the receptionist couldn’t provide an answer, so I decided to leave.
I had arranged childcare to attend this appointment, and I agreed to their policy that if I were late or missed my appointment, I would be charged $50. However, the clinic did not extend the same courtesy when they were running behind. They neither informed me of the delay nor offered to reschedule me with another physiotherapist.
While waiting, I was seated directly opposite the reception desk and overheard several personal conversations between the staff. Despite this, no one noticed or acknowledged the delay. This was supposed to be my initial appointment, and I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism. They have not contacted me to reschedule, which is very poor service.
