Arielle Hui I went in for a trim to get rid of split ends and make my side fringe into a full fringe. SJ cut my hair and blow dried it, and I was very happy with the results - I feel like she put in a lot of attention to detail and knew how to handle my Asian hair. SJ and Lucia were also friendly and nice to chat with. I am keen to come back again in the future! (P.S. women’s hair cuts start at $35 but they currently have a 25% discount for first time customers!)

Nicky Lee I’ve been having my hair done with Choi for years and I usually do full head foils and cuts, she never failed me. She is amazing with colours and stylish cuts, I’m very happy with her and recommend to anyone!

Hyeyeon Joo Its my third visit, and I am really satisfied today. I was a hair nomad after my designer went back to Korea after covid 19 outbreak, and I finally met a talented Korean designer Lucia. Today, I booked the shiseido straight perm for my daughter. Her hair was bleached 1 year ago, so there was a lot of damage and also has naturally frizzy hair. Now she get a pretty hair with minimal damage even though its difficult to straighten. No walk-in available, Pre-Booking is essential. They will spend enough time on your hair for best results. Never get damage by over booking. The only downside is that she already has so many regular customers therefore you have to book in advance to make it on the date and time you want. All the designers here have approved skills and a lot of experience. Highly recommend.

Vincent (Vincent) Solar is an amazing hairdresser who actually cares about the end result! I’ve been getting my haircut with him for over 2 years now and he’s never disappointed me! He’s got excellent attention to detail and takes his time with each customer. Make sure to call or message ahead to book a time as he’s appointment based! Update! He’s been able to move to a new location directly by Rowe St. The interior looks absolutely amazing.

Dr Meredith Nirui I have been fortunate enough to know Faribs (the lovely owner) many years ago. Although this salon is not near where I live, I travel to Eastwood. The service is great and Faribs caters to all with great dignity and compassion! Highly recommend!

Amanda Thomas Fariba is lovely and a whizz at style cutting, colouring and styling. She also employs a beautician part time. Her salon is modern and spacious. Fariba does not push products or force conversation if youd rather blob out. Whats not to like?

Janice Malak I would just like to say that I contacted Fariba regarding an unusual request : to do a film scene for a short film in her lovely salon .She is so very busy and yet she scheduled time to talk through the details of the production and was delightfully supportive . At least 40 other salons were contacted regarding filming and as their was no profit in the equation, there was no interest in supporting the enquiry . Fariba wished my daughter the best with her film studies / career , and I think with such a wonderful and charming attitude Fariba must be a delightful stylist who listen to concerns and seems to put her heart into everything. Vicky Kuo May is a very talented hair stylist and took a lot of care with my cut and colour. She took the time to explain different options to me and figure out what was the best plan for my hair goal (long term healthy hair), which made me feel like she cares about her customers being happy with the result visually, but also that her customers leave with healthy, sustainable hair. She is thoughtful and doesn’t try to push the most expensive option, if she knows it is not the best for you. She also gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life! She is also excellent with Asian hair. I highly recommend Show Salon and will be coming back. :)

He fixed my botched bleach job and helped me achieve the colour I was hoping for. Along with this he was very nice and gave me excellent tips on how to maintain my hair health and colour. Amy Auexpress really bombed, after the cut and wash, the hair is completely different from the original, it becomes very frizzy and messy, the charge is very expensive, 130 US dollars. I really dont know how to get good reviews。This is what it looks like after washing. Let me show you.

His skill with the scissors and confidence with the way he handled my hair gave me a chic haircut exactly how I wanted it. I like that he’s courteous and focused and did not take on multiple appointments at the same time, which can be very distracting at other salons.” After 5-6 visits, I’m beginning to understand why the reviews have ranged from 1* to 5*! It’d appear that Choi has good days and bad. On a bad day, he would just rush through the cut and seemed distracted, with little interest to meet customers request. I had to return to rectify a very unbalanced cut and he wasn’t pleased despite his mistake. Where’s that courteous professional gone?! I feel compelled to write this update so as not to mislead potential customers.

Tommy Cao Have been a customer here since moving to the area (3~ haircuts and a perm treatment) and have had great service each time. The stylist is super efficient, and yet doesnt seem rushed. Often he will do touch-ups towards the end after seeing how it looks post-wash. The cuts look great even without me being super descriptive in how I want it - hes got good sense for male hair and shows attention to detail (some salons unfortunately have male customers feel like theyre walking into a revolving door). Have not needed to wait yet when coming in at appointment time, and the prices are reasonable - would recommend!

Tony Yu My first time here and I was very happy with my haircut. Mr Choi was attentive and skilled, with his studio being clean and tidy. I think it was also great value for money given the nice experience and would definitely revisit/recommend to friends and others.

Mai Fernandez Went there to get my 2 kids, aged 5yrs and 16mo to get a haircut. There were 2 customers on the chairs and 2 waiting. I was immediately turned away by one of the barbers and said, "No.. not today!..but if you want to wait, it will be 50aud each".... how is that fair? I was really looking forward to finding a nice barber for my kids as we just moved here plus impressed by the reviews but was surprised by the attitude and overpriced rate.

Lyn-Louise Fletcher- Barton Pam is a great hairdresser - skilled and always friendly and pleasant. The only drawback is that the salon is up two flights of stairs, but well located opposite the car park in Hillview Lane.

Bora Song The staff were very friendly and were very meticulous during the whole process of dyeing my hair. I had my hair bleached at home beforehand, and despite the different shades that accumulated, the hairdresser did an excellent job at evening it out, dyeing it an ombre purple. It looks amazing! C Davizxxx Hair stunk like pee after wash & cut. Rude over the phone, rude laughing at customers. The guy in the shop that spoke English well did not help the lady cutting hair interpret English between customer. Used shared hairbrush on hair, Double washed No conditioner, Roughly towel dry hair, Did not use heat protector before blow- drying, Had to be reminded to trim properly instead of leaving whispy split end strands.

Mejoo MW Hard to find the hairdresser with great skill and I found one here!! Nice customer service as well. It took one hour to got there (and one more than an hour to come back home cos of traffic. :( ) but it worth it!!!! Many of my friends recommended here and happy it worked with me as well (oh and my 7 years old daughter as well!!!)

Kim Leong If anyone feels highly stressed serving everyone else except yourself. Come here and get the clean and massage you need. So relaxed!!! Whole body felt relaxed. Simone White 10 years of facials and I have never had one like this! So personal to me, not just a treatment you pay for and that’s all you get. I walk out looking like a completely different person! I have been treated by all the staff and every single one was amazing! If I can sum up one word for you I would say “thorough” they manage to sort every single issue going on with your face! Love!

yy ch Came in for a trim and to get my hair thinned as I have thick hair. The trim was a great length but the hair thinning left my hair extremely tangled as some chunks of hair were not combed out after the cut. Took a while to detangle (in the salon) and the hairstylist was a little rough with my hair. The hair thinning also left random chunks of my hair extremely short and unable to be tied up. Quite frustrated with the short chunks (hence the 3 stars) but everything else was quite nice, happy with my cut and took about 1.5 hours.

Louis Ong Have been coming for quite a while but decided will probably change another place to get a hair cut in the future. It is cheap at $13 for men however the lack of a proper queue system and the constant long queue makes it not worth it. Hit and miss, but Im a short haired guy so not a big deal. Always short on staff. Might be ok on weekdays however on weekends dont bother. Meh..

Cathy Shi I would like to rate 0 if I could! Very rude and offensive service that I have ever experienced in my life. The owner, whose name is James, continuously turned my head at a specific position, which was easy for him to operate. Also, he pushed up and down the chair multiple times without notifying me, leaving my legs lunging there, which was very uncomfortable. Furthermore, his English is really poor so that its very hard to communicate with him, his impatience makes it even worse. strongly suggest to avoid this man and his terrible service!

Danny Kim Tried this new place out. Hair designers were very knowledgeable with their hair knowledge. Surprisingly they have hair pores checking machine thing not sure what they are called but pretty cool. Owner was happy to check my hair pores for free of charge and told me my pores were pretty clean. Pretty cool place.

Cynthia Cho By far the most humiliating and disrespectful customer service I have ever received at a business. The owner, James, had berated me in Korean to his workers for coming back for an aftercare treatment after a perm. The situation escalated to the point where I was in tears with the owner continually shouting and criticising me. I am in shock that someone can talk down to a stranger like this in public, let alone as an owner of the business. Another employee of his also confirmed that how he acted in the situation was aligned his usual mannerism of being blunt, Ill-mannered and unpleasant. Although I felt apprehensive about posting a negative review to a new business, the conduct in which the owner had acted in was far from being appropriate nor would it be fair for any future customers to not be aware and how offensive the owner could be.

Pat S Use to be a good hairdresser and weve been coming here for years, getting haircuts and hair dyes. However, the service has been going downhill in the past year. Each time we came back the haircut was a bit worse, it wasnt what we described. The last time was when I wanted to trim my fringe and showed a photo, it ended up nothing like the photo and was far too short. After this I found a new hairdresser and sadly will not be coming back.

My boyfriend came here for a perm and they burnt his hair, shaved off the sideburns and cut the rest too short. He came back to give them a second chance for a little trim after it FINALLY grew out and they have hacked his hair WAY too short. The back is completely uneven and the top just sticks straight up. Not only did he waste $32 on this trash cut, we have a very important business dinner this weekend and he cant even style it no matter how much product he uses. I have never before witnessed such lack of skill in a salon. Extremely unprofessional. I recommend you retrain your staff or close your business.

Warren Fang Served by Anthony, really unprofessional. Chatting and flirting with other customers and staff but focusing on my hair. The whole process took about 10 mins and he literally spent 3 mins with me and charged me a high fee afterwards. Not sure how you guys rated this high, but I don’t go to barbers for flirt and jokes.

Kong Vinny AVOID THIS HAIR SALON. During my recent visit, I was charged an exorbitant fee of $35 for a totally uneven haircut that was completed in a mere seven minutes. The hairdresser demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and did not even wash my hair after the cut. Furthermore, the establishment operates on a cash-only basis, which raises concerns about its financial transparency. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment if you value quality service and ethical business practices.
