Glenyce Gers For many years I was a client at Sloans receiving amazing care and advice from Georgie, Kate and Carla. I always felt so glamorous on leaving the salon after my appointment. Unfortunately, I no longer attend as I now live in Jinja, Uganda. I only wish I could transport the care I received here! Finding a good stylist here is a challenge to say the least. The staff at Sloans set an incredibly high bar for any other hairdresser to meet, let alone surpass. I wish you a wonderful year celebrating 25 years, and many more to come.

Clare Mackey Got my hair done here a few days ago, the hairdresser did an amazing job but after leaving and seeing it in a more natural lightning I realised it wasn’t 100% what I was after. Because of the money spent I decided to go back and see if there was anything they could do, without hesitation they listened to my concerns and rectified the issue on the spot. All of the staff were extremely understanding and kind about it despite being very busy. Very professional and high quality salon!

李奕萱 I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience at this salon. I spent about four hours in the chair with no proper hospitality. Aside from being offered water and tea, no one explained what hairstyle I was going to receive. Before my appointment, I showed the manager several photos of the soft perm style I wanted. She assured me that she could achieve this look and promised to show me some pictures of similar styles before starting the perm. Unfortunately, neither of these things happened.
During my treatment, I expressed my dissatisfaction, but the response I received was that the pictures I showed were created with blow-dried hair, not perming. If she wasn’t able to achieve the desired style, she should have communicated that clearly from the start, instead of proceeding with a completely different hairstyle that I hadn’t asked for. There was no consultation, and to make matters worse, the stylist took multiple photos of my hair without my consent.
To top it off, I was charged $500+ for a hairstyle I didn’t like, and even one of the staff members, Jess, acknowledged that the style didn’t match what I initially requested. I returned to the salon the following day, hoping for a resolution, but instead, I was met with a lack of responsibility from the staff, with no effort to address the issue. I didn’t even ask for a refund; I just wanted my hair returned to its normal, straightened state.
After leaving the salon, I couldn’t sleep because I was so unhappy with my hair, and I will never return. Honestly, I feel that they dont even know how to properly perm hair, especially for the exorbitant price they charge.

ANN CARTWRIGHT Scott and his team are simply the best and better than all the rest! Have been coming to the salon for the whole 25 years and wouldnt dream of going elsewhere. Always a pleasure to be in their salon and you leave with your hair looking fabulous! Doesnt get any better than that?? Ann x
