Having had 2 sets of Keratin bond extensions for 7 months (from another salon) my hair was in poor condition, heaps of split ends, dull and ratty looking. I went in knowing I was going to have to chop off a fair bit and assumed I’d be feeling like a bald egg, I wasn’t expecting to leave with the SOFTEST, thickest, glossiest, most amazing hair. Cleo cut my hair into a blunt long bob that was the perfect length, suits me better than any haircut I’ve ever had. It is so healthy looking it actually has that reflective glossy halo. So in love. There was a nice girl (I dont know her name, unfortunately) short lady with black hair. DoveGigi Halo Farrah Titanium Hair Straightener Warranty I purchased a #Halo Farrah Titanium #Hair Straightener from Hairhouse Warehouse at #Morrabbin #DFO on 5/12/2023, which came with a two-year warranty. Last week, I found that the lock on the hair straightener was broken and I burned my finger. When I called Hairhouse Warehouse, I was told that this is a known issue with the Halo Farrah Titanium Hair Straightener. I was asked to bring the product to the store, which I did. The store manager quickly resolved the issue and gave me a new hair straightener today (20/09/2023). Happy with customer service. Negative: However, the store manager also informed me that the warranty for the new hair straightener would count on the faulty product. I believe that this is unfair, as I should be entitled to a new two-year warranty for the replacement product.

Jaya Pearce I have seen many nail salons, had many sets done and had had both positive and negative results. But through pure honest reflection, I quite favor this place. Windy was my nail technician. She was so gentle, so considerate, so thorough. When they switched technicians, I was admiring how close knit their teamwork is. Turns out she doesn’t do acrylic but i’m so glad she did an amazing job. Truthfully you can’t always expect places to be gentle a bit of pain is expected. But these ladies are considerate to not be too harsh. They were engaging with me, they gave me the privacy that I needed, I can’t understand why people treat others so badly. Not once have I had any issues with these lovely women.

Sheb I live close to 20km away & have ample salons nearby, yet cannot find any like the talent at Milano. I walked in there by fluke to get a refill on a set I hated. I was skeptical as am used to hit & miss at salons. You know how it goes, you find your person and then they move on, so you start salon hopping & usually get not the best outcome. On my first visit I hit the jackpot with Millie. She listened to what I did not like about my current set and took her time to ensure each nail was spot on. They were the most natural looking set I’ve ever had. Every visit I see each technician inspecting their workmanship in detail. But the best bit….. they don’t just take walk in after walk in to then leave you to “just set them up”. We’ve all experienced these type of appointments where a 30-40 session ends up close to 2 hours! Not at Milano. They give realistic wait times and stick to them. I make an appointment so I am seen at that time as am usually trying to fit in on break time and only once did I have to wait something like 3 minutes. I communicated on my first visit how it’s frustrating when the technicians consistently get up to work in spurts on others as it makes my appointment longer, they promised this is not what they do and it’s refreshing to see they stick to it. As a result they don’t rush and their work is outstanding! Millie is absolutely brilliant & I can safely say, I would be comfortable seeing the other techs as their level of work is all amazing.

Fiona Cox I have just had the best pedicure and manicure I have ever had, and I’ve had a few! Maria did my nails and they are picture perfect! She was professional, friendly and so talented as well as being quick because she knew exactly what she was doing. She took care with my nails and paid attention to detail. The lady who did my pedicure (sorry I don’t know your name) was wonderful, the massage of my calves and shins and feet was quite fabulous, almost felt like a holiday spa massage and my toes are so pretty. Jagger Most overpriced and underperforming salon I’ve ever been to. Extra $25 for French?? $140 for mani-pedi?? Advertised price list is extremely misleading. My NATURAL nails broke within a week of being at this salon. Read the rest of the reviews… I’m not the only one with this experience and I completed expect a response from the business in the same bullying tone they have given other honest reviewers.

Priyanka Joshi If there were negative stars I would chose last value on a negative scale.I got my nails done last Sunday and it’s already started coming off. The lady even bruised my skin at a point with the nail driller. I feel I just wasted my money here. The staff is so unpleasant and the owner/manager was so rude. They speak in Vietnamese with each other when you ask questions as if they are talking behind your back. Did not feel comfortable at the parlour here and definitely won’t be going back.

Nicky Nicolaou Don’t waste your money. My daughter had her nails done at a cost of $65. Nails started to lift on day 7 so we purchased some nail glue to secure them. By day 10 only 6 nails left and another starting to lift. Would never go again. Business owner keeps trying to remove this review. To reply to you… Your actually keep lying Natalie, Firstly, the purple mark you mention is half a love heart which we PAID an additional $5 that you painted on. I most certainly never asked for a full refund. I asked you to be fair and meet me half way with a partial refund as the nails started to lift after 7 days and by day 10 she only had 5 good nails left. You said nails last 2-3 weeks and I should have come in as soon as it happened, even though I explained to you I could not get back to the salon earlier and that I was not expecting more nails to keep lifting. You also suggested they she had picked at them and that is why they may have lifted. Finally, the man who soaked her nails off did not even want to put the clear colour on, we had to ask several times as her nails have been left so brittle. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but customers need to be aware.

Aldo Agustin BEWARE! BEWARE! Likewise, if i could rate this Love Beauty Nail Salon any lower, I would. I was there last week for a pedicure and elected to have the simple cut/buff only and no colour for $20 as clearly noted on their price list (highlighted with the red arrows). To cut a long story short, after we were finished, she asked me for $45 for approximately 15mins of service. I asked why $45 instead of $20? The Manicurist then informed me that she performed a very quick massage on my calves and that the bubble foot spa apparently were additional which I did not ask for in the first place. I thought it was a part of the service for hygiene reasons as one would expect. THIS IS CLEARLY FRAUDULENT AND A FORM OF ENTRAPMENT. I THEREFORE ADVICE ANYONE TO AVOID THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS AND GO ELSEWHERE! Lastly, as a Customer, I never mind paying for any type of service irregardless of the price so long as it is conducted in an honest manner, this clearly was not! BOTTOM LINE, TELL YOUR STAFF NOT TO DO THINGS THEY ARE NOT ASKED TO DO AND SURPRISE THE CUSTOMER WITH THE COST AT THE END WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS UNAWARE THAT IT IS AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHICH I NEITHER ASKED OR REQUESTED FOR. Cathy I had an amazing experience getting an SNS manicure and pedicure from Han and Anna yesterday! They were both so meticulous and professional, making sure every detail was perfect. Han went above and beyond—when I passed by the salon after my massage, she actually returned $15 that I had accidentally overpaid. That kind of honesty and customer care is rare and truly appreciated! Highly recommend their services!

Hannah Graham The worst set of nails I’ve ever had in my life!! They are uneven, different lengths and are so thick it looks like it’s been slapped on by a child. I have just got home and want to remove them instantly or hide my fingers till I can get them off.

sophia Literally the worst nail salon Ive ever been to. They bled my finger multiple times and did not care at all. I asked for marble but they said they couldnt so I said ombre and they literally said $70. The quality was horrible and she missed half of two of my nails. She didnt seem to know what she was doing. Took 2 hours for nails that werent even worth the time or money. She made some of them crooked and damaged my nails very greatly which will take months for them to go back to normal. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Millie A They were the worst experience for nails, especially since it was my first time getting sns. Not only did it take a really long time, but they also seriously damaged my nails and gouged deep ruts in them that will take months to grow out. The finish was quite unprofessional, and many of them were crooked. I am SERIOUSLY disappointed and angry, and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Tahlia Corbin They are terrible. I went in to get my SNS nails off and they gave me a bowl of acetone and cotton wool and made me scrub off the nails by myself while the woman watched me. At the very end she filed the edges of them but I took them off completely by myself. They charged me $14 for me to soak off my own nails. The woman I had didn’t speak a word of English so she just pointed at my fingers with the cotton wool expecting that I would know what to do. DO NOT go here if you want a good experience.

Cherry Blossom IF I COULD GIVE A 0 STAR I WOULD. Their service is terrible. The lady didnt know what she was doing. She bled my natural nails multiple times and damaged them. I asked for a marble design which she rudely said she couldnt do.Then she did an ombre really badly that cost $70 and took 2 hours. She messed up one of my fingers which she couldnt fix and then made excuses about.WASTE OF MONEY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Kat I visited this salon to get my nails done for my birthday, but the staff clearly lacked proper skill in creating an ombré French look on acrylics. The nail tech began applying color with a sponge without showing me her progress, then declared it finished, resulting in nails that looked spray-painted with white paint—definitely not an ombré effect. I refused to pay for such a poor job, and another tech attempted to fix it using a different sponge, but it only looked worse. They eventually removed the polish and did a basic French style, acting dismissively and blaming me for the outcome. I had also asked for chrome overlay, but they overlooked it. To top it off, they charged me $95 for a service that was severely subpar, and their attitude was unprofessional. I will never return, as this experience felt like a rip-off, and I also found their communication and attitude disrespectful and racist. The only valid star id give them is they shape nails well.

Lucy Sanders Got my nails done today (14/3/24) and have to praise the lovely lady that did my nails! I didn’t get her name but she was absolutely wonderful. I came in with some acrylic nails I got done at another salon and needed to get them removed due to lifting. She removed the old nails carefully and started putting on the new set, took her time and they look exactly how I wanted them to! Will definitely be coming back again as I enjoyed my experience.

Anchana S I should have read the reviews before going here. I had pedicure and manicure with SNS. Where do I start, the lady that did my pedicure was so loud, constantly talking in Vietnamese to another staff member next to me. She wasn’t focused and cut into the skin around my toenail (not cuticles, but actual skin). Even while it was bleeding she continued to cut in. Then another lady started working on my manicure while I was in the chair, she was constantly checking her phone and typing messages in the middle of my manicure (atleast 5 times although she did keep saying ‘1 min’ then on her phone). Instead of doing a manicure, she went straight into the SNS application (usually they would trim around the cuticles, push them back and then file). She also made my nails too thick. For $50 the manicure was not worth it. I went into the salon wanting to de-stress on my day off, and came out feeling frustrated and angry. The manager did give me 50% off for the pedicure after I raised the cut with her, but she really needs to consider training her staff properly. Overall not a good salon, the two ladies I had were not trained properly and just zero customer service. I wouldn’t recommend!

No Loose Ends Black Rock By far the most unprofessional experience and poor quality nails if there was a zero I would rate a ZERO review for this. Spent nearly $100 on Shellac and to have a nail break 2 days later then have to pay for it and the owner blamed it on my behalf for breaking when they use cheap quality for everything in their salon. Now the nail polish has also chipped off absolutely disgusted also poor customer service, I got in first before another customer and was seated then a lady just threw the colour chart at me and kept repeating herself to make sure it’s the same right colour otherwise they wouldn’t do it again for me. Had to wait 25+ minutes for them to start and rectify 1 nail. And all ladies were utterly rude. Highly do not recommend will never enter this nail salon ever again

mswomackstill Excellent quality SNS application … I have been going here now for the past two years and am extremely happy with the quality of the work… my long nails last for over 4 weeks with no chips or cracks. Attention given to cutting cuticles if needed, applying SNS carefully and finishing off/cleaning inside of nails at the end… Always accommodating walk ins and polite staff and manager. Thank you girls!
