r The gym is great, lots of equipment and very spacious, but I would recommend a different gym if your planning on having a shower when you vist, as often there is no hot water and about half the lockers are missing doors.

DM P Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this swim school for parents seeking structured, skill-based swimming lessons. While the facility is spacious, well equipped, and full of potential, the instructors seem to lack both focus and care. Children are mostly left to do as they please, with minimal guidance or attention to proper swimming techniques and foundational skills. I had hoped things would improve under the new management, but after several sessions, I’ve seen little to no progress in my daughter’s development.

Ash Hmi A big shout-out to Derrimut Gym for their amazing customer service. Today was a public holiday, and I went around to a few gyms (including my old gym) hoping to sign up again after a while, but most of them had no staff around. When I went to Derrimut, the staff were not only there but were super friendly and helpful. Aiva, in particular, was lovely! She helped me finish all the forms and complete my sign-up in just a few seconds. I was genuinely surprised by how smooth and easy the whole process was. Great experience, 5 STAR customer service! Highly recommend Derrimut Gym.

seda kerse I appreciate the lovely Pilates instructors, but I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the studio. The dust and dirt on the floor and reformer made it difficult to enjoy my class. Additionally, the temperature control is inconsistent; either the air conditioning is set too high, or it isnt on at all.

I was nervous when I first stepped foot in Viva but the staff were so kind understanding and supportive which gave me the confidence to stay and Ive been a member ever since training 5-6 days a week. The equipment is great and more than enough to complete a solid workout and the atmosphere in itself just boost the motivation.

Coach Kim and Coach Chelsea create such a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment and are amazing teachers. Coaches acknowledge that every child is different and moves on their own pace and support them wherever they need. Equipment and facilities are always clean and well maintained. Classes are easy to book and very flexible if plans change as well. Can’t recommend this gymnastic class highly enough!

Cutters I’ve been training jiu jitsu at Dominance Thomastown for 4 years. I’ve found it provides top tier coaching, structure and culture which help consistently develop your skills in the art itself as well as in competition. I went through a period where i almost had to leave because my work hours had changed and i couldn’t make as many classes. I started looking elsewhere and doing trial sessions at other gyms that might suit. It wasn’t until that point that I had realised how much of a gem this place is and that I just could not leave. Each class is executed with structure, purpose and progression with a bigger picture in mind at a level that other places can’t compete with. Linc, Ivy and all involved are a wealth of knowledge, experience and extremely welcoming. The culture is undeniably positive and supportive. Jiu Jitsu is hard work mentally and physically. You bring in a decent work ethic and this place will complement it at a level other places won’t get anywhere near. Thank-you legends!

Michael Pane Gym is great, a lot of unnecessary hate going on with the workers. The equipment isn’t super diverse but is kept clean and in good condition. I do personally feel like the etiquette of other gym goers has been lacklustre lately, a lot of rubbish being dumped, weights being left on racks toilets treated poorly, sweat being left on seats after use. In general the gym is great

Jorge Acevedo I love this place! I have exercised about 30 years in all kind of gyms and FIT Academy is at the top 3. The venue is incredibly well equipped, the staff is strongly competent and there is plenty of free parking. Unlike most gyms, FIT Academy focuses on functionality via strength, conditioning and flexibility. They not only train bodies but also minds. They run programs to transform your mindset, in order to change your habits, to finally create a new identity reflected on your daily choices. Sam does an incredible job leading FIT Academy, and is a source of inspiration himself. I love the gym, I love its culture and I love the people creating community whilst transforming themselves.

Daniel Kostoski I’ve been training at Leverage for a long time now and can honestly say it’s an awesome academy. Phil is a wealth of knowledge and along with the other instructors, creates a fun and safe training environment. I lean on the hobbyist side and the school fulfills that for me, teaching both the self defence & sport side of the martial art and Ive gained practical skills that I apply on and off the mats. The academy is full of great people from various backgrounds and Ive made a lot of friends there.

I am only in my fourth week of membership however, Ive been weight training in gyms for over 8 years - and have also worked in them as Instructor, PT and Manager and I can tell you that the support, motivation and care youll receive at Dexterity will heavily outweigh what youre getting in any gym! You are known by name and welcomed with a smile. Sessions are small, super fun and there is plenty of room. I love the variety of people and ages. Id happily recommend Dexterity to anyone!
